I think they do love, but they are so afraid of it that they prefer to hide it, like turtles hide their heads when they feel scare. I think they try to ignore the feeling because it overwhelmes them. People react differently, that's what you got to watch for. Find the pattern.

I have read many advices about having relationship with aqua in this site and i can't more agree about what you've just wrote above.

Aqua men love deeply but if your clingy, needy, ask thousands of stupid questions, try to pick his brain, emotionally pushy, the female admirer has already lost, the more space you give a Aqua male the more they love you deeply, if a female can put up the illusion that she's not a bit interested, she has the I can take it or leave it attitude but still pay attention to Aqua man well she can win his heart.

Don't give him anything, give subtle hints of interest, a glance, a soft halfway smile, a sparkle of interest and back off, ignore him when he's in the room, pay attention to everyone but him, this sign is analytical thinkers, he will be curious enough to find out why you simply don't want to be bothered out of ego alone, no PDA unless he initiates it, show up, smiling, ready to have some fun and he is yours.

Key to Aqua man, if he's not chasing you then don't bother, this sign is fixed and if he isn't fixed on you then he's not going to be swayed, yes he will date you to see what it's all about but at the end of the day most Aqua's are looking for their muse, someone to fixate on.

Aquas aren't scared of love, we dream of it, breathe it, hope for it, dwell on it, wish for it, it's our mission to love but some Aquas are good at loving people not so much as one on one love b/c of the fear of rejection, the fear of not getting it right, we intrinsically understand the responsibility of love and all the things that come with being with one person, Aquas (some) hate to disappoint, we idealize love and are afraid that we can't measure up, give us a group to love and we can lead them to heaven, give us one person and we can lead them to hell and we are fully aware of this, we feel deep kinship and responsibility for a group of people.

we have a way of captivating and befriending groups and crowds but when it comes to one on one well thats a different story, their is that akward feeling that haunts us, the feeling of inadequacy, the feeling of failure is so overwhelming that we shy away from one on one relationships but our deep desire to experience it keeps us motivated to get beyond fears of intimacy, we are masters at showing and demonstating love but we don't necessarily say it, we show it and demonstrate it, some of us give things to show love, we are not good at the words, good at the intimacy part that goes along with love, emotional displays make some of us uncomfortable, ie crying, pain, heartache, disappointment, rejection, sadness, even laughter, smiling, complete happiness, we have this reserve button, I personally have not smiled on purpose when others are clearly happy, I feel happy deep inside but I don't want others to know I'm happy, they assume I'm upset but deep down I'm enjoying the moment too, thats how complex we can be.

Not to mention Aquas contradictory nature, we can be against something, staunch against it but don't be suprised if you walked in the room and saw us sitting with the devil! lol! That's how some of us are, we have to have the full experience to know it...we live in the light but mingle in the dark, never stay their for too long but we do have a deep dark side borderline masochistic and other worldly.

Aquas love deeply, it's an endless love, we hold onto the good of a person, hardly remember the bad, we love 10 years after your gone, most people can't even handle us on this level, be careful for what you wish for. Remember this is a fixed sign and we put the f in fixate.

Too many people judge instead of learn. By the time they figure out they should try and learn the individual, it's often too late.

It only too late if both parties give up. Also, some people guard themselves so much, its hard to get to know them.
