Gemini Moon and always end up loving Gemini or Aquarius

My Gemini ex-husband and I had quite good mental rapport but the relationship was just hopeless. Also, I keep falling for Aquarians - usually they hurt me by being distant, but this time it's different because I'm older and don't need the same closeness I did when younger, plus he's just way nicer to me than the other were, and we're starting with a solid foundation of friendship (the feelings have grown over two years).

But as a Scorpio, I can't help but wonder if I'm truly wasting my time with air signs...I'm guessing my Gemini moon is drawing me to air signs, and them to me? Even my best female friend is air (Gemini).

I remember reading somewhere here that we usually get attracted to the people who has our moon as their sun. I'm not sure though

This is true to a certain degree.

Another interesting theory floating around is that Mars placement indicated what sign one desires, while their ascendant is what they end up living with. Though I wouldn't really agree to this statement.
