I find that at times I love being an Aquarian, being different than others, creative, etc, but other times I feel so disconnected with everyone else, a loner who can understand nature, spirituality. Also the past 2 years has been a struggle professional. Does anyone else feel these things?

I have always felt like a loner. Even with a group of friends or at home with my wife and step-son, I sometimes feel as if I am a stranger visiting a strange land.
Being in the middle of nature or visiting an art gallery or museum really begins to soothe and feed my soul.
As an educator I have had easier years. These past two years have been very trying in almost all aspects of my life.
It seems as if in the past it was easier to find people who understood where I was coming from.
Too many things have changed for my tastes.

yes, it is hard feeling a loner. I used to be very social but have changed throughout the years. I also find myself at complete peace in nature, painting and writing. I want to connect with people, but have a hard time with people on superficial basis. The past few years have been extremely difficult for me also, in every area of my life, especially career because I am a creative person. sometimes it scares me because I used to be so social, now I am antisocial, and I have a child, so I need to be a role model.

Hey,guys don't sweat it, life get's that way sometimes. It will change like the weather here in TX. Keep your old real friends handy they help a lot.

You're so right Pete. Every day is different. Sometimes it feels as if there is a lot of tumultuousness in the air. As if things that should be going real smooth are being moved along a gravel road on a wagon with square iron wheels.

yes I agree that at times things can move very slowly, I guess I need to learn how to ride out the slow times and what to learn from them. Has anyone read the book about this young Aquarius man who left his family and travelled to alaska and lived by being self sufficent? I think it was called "Into the Wild", he had that typical Aquarius traits I think.

OK, Gina being true a aquarian like us,maybe rougher on lady's then on us guy's but I know If you just open those eyes and look around and see the true meaning of life its being able to tell yourself,Dam I'am still alive, So hold that pretty little head up and say thank you lord and go out there and kick butt. that was a nice response. I keep trying to figure out my life, or life in general. Part of me just wants to wander off into the unknown, but I have a child to be responsible for. England isn't my home, I want to leave it. I think your right, I have to be grateful to be alive, but its hard when your not in the place where you want to be, living the life you want or living your choosen career. There must be a reason for all of these things, I keep trying to find it, but then again, maybe I keep missing the boat and need to be grateful for the small things. I feel so unsettled and out of touch with everything.

Do you all ever go out and create little mini-adventures? For me I go to downtown El Paso a lot. I like to explore the older buildings that have such interesting facades that were built i n another time for another purpose but are now being used in a manner very different from the original intention. Then I imagine what it must have looked or been like when the place had first opened.
The other day I had a great adventure just walking through a junkyard looking for spare parts for my wifes car.
On the same trip I was able to spend some time at a place I had grown up around. It was saddening at how it looks now and what is being done with it.

thats a very good point, making your own mini adventures. that is a good attitude to have. They say its not where you are but what you make of it. I would rather be in texas than england, but I am here and I have to make some adventures for myself. I like adventures and haven't had enough. I am an artist and I love looking at junk, the possibilities! There are probably loads of places to explore here, the problem is I like quiet and space and in London there are loads of people, lots of noises.

Lady, let me guaranty you here in TX. like in England things are probably the same. It's just your walking upside down over there [smile]. You know how they say we aquarian are aloof breed, I believe my lady you have gotten your self stuck in that world, and all we have to do is learn to walk out of it. I myself find that it's a nice place but must come back to the real world to continue to survive. So give that little baby a kiss for me, and like go out there and make your mark.

thats it exactly! Yes I am very aloof. I find I am living in my mind most of the time, reality stinks! I know we are air signs, but I am always dreaming of something else instead of reality, I think your right about coming out of it. That will be hard, but necessary, but how do you do that?. I mean I like living in my own head and my own world! Is this a normal aquarius trait or am a just a weirdo all on my own? (ha) I know the old saying the grass is always greener on the other side (it probably isn't greener just more sun and a lot better) ha ha!

Gina,No you are not wierd and this is normal for us, I myself like it there but its just like a bad habbit. Like when I come to work I have deal with my crew and my boss but as soon I chase everone out and answer all the questions for the morning I found myself day dreaming and playing with this machine. Time to wake up the boss is calling me give me 20 min. i'll be back.

Back to my original story/ Here at work I find the time fade-in and out you need to learn to use this power to your advantge it keeps you one step ahead, learn to control it.I no your still young but with time and practice Y'll learn.

Ok, dar'len what I mean about in-out is that aloof state we find ourself in. I for one, when by myself and thinking can come up with idea's that at the time I may not use but later when the time is right I'll pull it out on who'ever or whatever not to be rude, but like ever where in this world someone will try to step on you. Not that I win all the time but I know my record must be good or I would not be where Am at now. Use that mind to control your world and don't waste it on anything that will bring you down./57

Yes I think I understand. I know that the mind is the most powerful thing. You just have to believe. It can affect every aspect of your life. I think that it takes awhile, or maturity to understand it. Sometimes our subconsious mind can control you, so you have to learn to work through that. But sometimes it can be really powerful, untrue beliefs, if you know what I mean What is 57? your year? I'm not to far away from that.

Morning, are should I say good afternoon, so how has your day been going, mine has been pretty hetic sense I've gotten here. Do you have to deal with a bunch people, where you work are you self-employed. Whats on on our schedule for today shopping, If so make sure you bundle up if its still cold down there. Also make sure you smile at everone you meet today. What did you do to Eric.

what did I do with erick? thats funny! Yes its cold but not as bad as yesterday winter coats and scarfs. I am in the process of trying to become self employed. what do you do? I know you mentioned a crew and a boss? I just watched an old film about texas. Is that where you are orginally from?

As an aquarian what do you consider to be the 3 most important aspects of life?

Yes, born and raised and yourself what part of that continent are you original from? It's sping time over here. When do's it start to warm-up over there, I bet england is a pretty country in the sping it's nice here but look out in the summer it's to hot. I used to be self-employed in the 80s had my own welding business. You know what there are a hunded-thousand people probably reading along with our conversation we're having petty quite An'it.

a cowboy? Its spring here to but really cold. Its pretty in the country when the sun is out, which is rare. I feel a cold/flu today, so send over some of that texas sunshine, I could use that to heal. I love hot weather, it makes me feel great, I hate cold and damp (why am I here?) I'm from america, the midwest. I know loads of people are reading this, thats fine, I just wouldn't say anything person. They can nose elsewhere!

I only knew one other aquarian before, he was great fun, made me laugh like crazy even though he would irrate the hell out of me at times. I think that aquarians have a fantastic sense of humour. That would be funny wouldn't it, a bunch of us aquarius all being aloof together, we would all go off into our own spaces, ha ha. I know that we are strong minded to. I try to be open minded but if I belive in something no one can change my mind. Love and laughter are very important to me, I want to laugh like an idiot till the day I die, starting now. I don't think I have laughed enough in my life, I love a good laugh, but have to be able to laugh with someone like minded otherwise it isn't funny is it. I find that when I don't feel well my mind floats far far away. Its kind of nice to. send more sunshine, its helping!

It means jobsite, laughing god I love to laugh also, thats why its so good to laugh at the silly things we do,and ask what the hell I do that for it keeps you young at heart. I also almost had a aquarian girlfriend she drove me nuts I guess its dued to the fact that we like to take care of the person we are with at the time and being a aquarian we feel we can fend for ourselves I believe I was over protective and ran her off but it was a wonderfull relation at the time. So you at'ta see all the wildflowers blooming this season we have had plenty of rain and a great crop flower.

I found my aquarian friend like me, we would either get on great or butt heads, but I found that neither one of us wanted to take care of the other, ha, we just wanted to do our own thing. Your right about laughing at the small things, I have learned to do that, sometimes its great fun to laugh at yourself, but its more fun to share it! the flowers sound beautiful there, I bet they are purple or lavender. Am I right? Do you find you get along with certain other signs more than others? Have you noticed this?

They all so made a orange colored bluebonnet. When it comes to other signs I find I get along with about all of them but then there are some folks that you just sense are't all there those are the the one's you need to watch-out for. It's better to hold your judgement about people in till you get to no them. Also a lot depends on how we we're raised and where.

I agree, its best to hold judgement about people, but usually I get a feeling about people I meet right away, I trust my instincts which are pretty good, even though I was way off about the purple flowers, ha! I think that raising your hat is a lovely trait to have, very respectful.

Howdy ya'll,

Things really picked up a lot around here. I decided to get some rest. Well life over in my venue has been interesting as of late. I am an art teacher here at Riverside High School and have been real busy with getting my students on a field trip that took place on Friday. We visited the University of Texas at El Paso Fox Fine Arts Department, toured the El Paso Museum of Art, and made our final destination at the International Museum of Art to see the Student Art Awards Exhibit. Phew! Great stuff but boy was I beat. When I am not tending to the young artistic souls in my charge then I am probably off living my other life as a jazz trombonist with the Jazz Unlimited Big band and the Disciples of Jazz(combo). I believe in total immersion in the arts. Pencil is my favorite medium because it is so accessible. However I do love to paint and play with the pastels upon occasion. My mind often wanders into the realm of fantasy and I tend to do a lot of day-dreaming. Sometimes this gets me into trouble as I tend to like what is in my hesd better than reality. The winds have picked up in recent days around here. I often wonder if these are the winds of change that many of us Aquarians have been waiting for. Take care Gina and Pete, I'll check ya' later.

john wayne? What are you doing Pete? Good to have you back Erick. Yes things have picked up! I to can sense these winds of change, but mostly with other people. I hope I have loads of change coming my way, I need them by the bucket full! That sounds fun teaching art, I am an artist myself, I mainly paint but also do a little sculpture, and I learned how to weld (thats for you pete) and really enjoyed it. I love getting lost in colors. I also think that I am a typical Aquarian from what I have read, it makes me feel good to know that I am not the only one! This is suppose to be a great year for us in all areas of our life, I am waiting with open arms! God its been really dull for years now. and I thought that you pete had eaten Erick!

I've painted myself before but I never tried to build a statue, maybe I could weld one together for you. Where do you want it sent? ha ha. I tend to stay-way from crowds and all ways in a rush to get to point A to B natural high I guess thats why I enjoy my job allways something different going on. Say I'll take the portrait the life like one. [ silly grin ] O'well time to say good-by.
