Sending birthday wishes to your ex aqua?

So this is a question for everyone

Would u send ur ex a birthday wish? If yes why? and if No why ?

Im not sure if its a good idea to send my ex aqua a birthday wish or not? (his bday is on feb 16..soon!)

My ex was a feb 17th chick, and hell no, she did not give a shit about me, she was so self absorbed it was ridiculous, I guess she just didn't feel the same way about me as i did for her which is cool too, but she didnt wish me a happy birthday until like 2 weeks later... But anyways I wouldn't want to wish my ex a happy birthday, especially since I don't want to be close to her, but I think I'm going to anyways since I work with her, and I know im going to just try to be a nice person anyways.. ugh...

So I guess if you want to somewhat have a 'closer' relationship with your ex then suuure...

well get this.. the Aqua guy i know twice didn't message me on my bday. 1st time i was really upset.. i texted him the following day saying 'Thanks for the wishes, your soo kind' he was all confused, then on my FB he messages happy belated bday and text messaged me. I got over it after. then the 2nd time he didn't wish me. I texted him saying ' do you always forget your friends bdays, or is it just mine?' He told me the reasons why, its because his dad suddenly went to hospital and I completely understood.

Does your ex remember your bdays?

No. I send them good vibes in my heart and I keep it movin'!

Depends if you're friends or if you haven't talked in a while. If you haven't talked, then there's really no need to start up contact again because of something simple as a Happy Birthday, right? I'm guessing you asked this because you two are indeed not on a friend level. That's what I would do, not send it. There might be exceptions to this, but I think my view is pretty set in place on this issue.

Why? Because if I'm not friends with my exes that means that one of us, or both, didn't want to get on that level, or any level, really, so sending them something is completely unnecessary. They are out of my life and have already moved their attention to someone else, whether that be friends, another romantic interest, family, or even activities like sports. That's what happens when you suddenly lose the ability to rely on a person that was important to you. You may sit and cry and about it, but eventually, you're going to find connections with other people. In that sense, I might be ruining his progress by doing that, also. But, it isn't necessary to think this deeply about this issue. The main point: There just isn't any good reason for me to feel the need to send a text to an ex.

I need to start learning how to say things in a sentence or two. : (

My take on this is, if you didnt give birth to them then why should you care if its their birthday or the annivesary to the day they 1st noticed facial hair? It doesnt make sense and you shouldnt wish them anything unless its a tradition that you both have with each other. All breakups differ and how each couple interacts after is also different. I personally only wish to one because he wished me 1st and it has been an annual thing we do ever since.

Yes..while we wer in a relationship he always remembered my bday. After our break up my bday came up once which was in last May and he wished me a happy birthday and put on his status all happy faces and smilys and was like happy birthdaaay and all. even though we wernt together at that time. Guess he just felt sorry for me. Or maybe he felt still attached to my bday cuz my bday came 2 months after our break up..u can say we were FRESHLY JUST BROKEN!!!!

Right now its been a year and we havent been talking at all. The connection is gone cuz i cut it. And I am just worried whether I should wish him a happy bday like he wished me b4? or ignore it. So far most of ur opinions say No dont do it!
Most likely I wont cuz hes with another girl and I certainly dont want to think im still into him and that im still thinking about his bday.

Last month he commented on a pic of a bday cake I have posted saying Hey this cake looks very nice and its all covered in strawberries which is ur fav I was wondering y r u celebrating ur bday now? ur bday still in may not now.
I was like DAMN he still remembers my bday :o and i replied saying it was for my friend

Im sure he still remembers my bday..but dont think thats important anyway lol doesnt really solve anything

We really have no tradition and I cant describe our relationship at all. All I can say is that he never talks to me (cuz hes with someone else probably) however he never deleted me off his life even though I have asked him many time to delete me if it bothers him.
So i dont know.

He remembers the little things which is sweet. Hes starting off the conversations which is obv a good sign. To him its different, to you its something completely diff. But things like this hes still in putting himself in your mind. Just distance yourself from him. If he does message and you choose to reply, take ur time. If you do that, he will question himself.
