Why do I keep reading Aqua= Swingers, Polyandry, Harems, etc.

Have not met one Aqua in to that though. Heard of one having a rotation of booty calls/fwbs, but to my knowledge it wasn't know among them.

Help me out? Have I just not found those water bearers on a mission to quench the thirst of sexual frustration in their world?

I have an Aqua fwb. We dated for 2 weeks in high school then figured out it would work better like this.

We meet whenever the mood strikes us, it might not happen for years.

Most easy going person I ever met. I always thought fwbs would be something like meeting up, having sex, good bye. But with him, we go out to dinner, we catch up on what's going on in our lives, we have sex then we watch some movies. It's pretty cool.

Very respectful about it. We only like each other physically...as far as personality goes we don't get along so there are no feelings involved.

Swinging, polyandry etc just won't work with me. I don't share well. The fwb idea is starting to entice me a little, but I'd have to be the only person he sleeps with. I don't like whores. I guess I just want a friendly type of relationship without too many ties.

I'm good at compartmentalising things. If it's set up as a fwb then it's just that. I don't go out looking for it *shrugs*. I'm usually going for someone I like or should I say I usually end up liking that person.

But I have to admit I was a total slut as a teen.

I have done the FWB, but really wasn't my thing either, I found it meh, it was missing the part that comes from having an emotional connection.

Do I think it's possible for Aquas to be into swinging, harems ,etc? sure, we can detach and understand what we are getting involved with.. you just need to find the ones that are into it.

isn't it hard to separate the two? I got close once to having a 3some and it was weird. Watching my man even kiss another woman was just, I can't describe it. It wasn't really jealousy, but I did not like it. Maybe I am just one of those that it's not the life for them. It didn't happen, but it was something that almost did.

I have had friends proposition me that have open marriages and it just is something that I don't think I could ever participate in, entertain yes.. but I just never could go forward.

To my question, is swinging different then that type of stuff? I've never thought people are weird or odd for participating in different or out of the ordinary, I admit it fascinates me. 😉

The two are not mutually exclusive.

You can be into one person without any comparison whatsoever and still use other people to enhance your sexual life with one another. Or not.


Having said I've never been with an Aqua outside of my teens.

There's one thing I would like to do or host as an event in a few years though.


Someone told me about this event, I think it's a sex festival, out in the Pacific North West. It's couples doing it with each other, no partners, but all in public and you can film each other. Then at the end of it everyone gets on stage and burns their film together.
