I don't really get the alien reference, personally. Emotionally unavailable doesn't equal being from another world. Or is it that the aliens we "know" seem to be interested in the world as a whole, so that they don't seem to have any personal connection to an individual idea (person)?

I would rather be called unique

Being detached doesn't always mean unemotionally available. Some of the Aquas I'm close to are VERY emotional - they just know how to hide it well and/or shelve it for things that are more important to them.

Most people would like to be known as unique.

But the really unique people are the ones who don't see themselves as anyone special in anyway, but who will still go the extra mile in their endeavors.

I don't know. being born under air signs can make you feel like you're both alienated and robotic all combined into one.
