oh dear.
Well I wouldn't feel very empowered if I was to let this lying sneaky lying pervert pervert butt hole back into my life so he could lie and b/s and cr@p all over me again.
I may be immature, but at least I don't have to worry about THAT particular individual doing what he did to me again.

How do you handle people that take advantage of you?
I have much trouble dealing with people I can't trust, I find it easier to operate without them so I don't have the worry that they are going to butter on me again.

Then there's that rule...butter on me once treetrunk you, butter on me twice treetrunk me - I should have known better.

I only expect people to be as trustworthy/honest etc as I am toward them - too much to ask?

Yes some buttery stuff has gone down so now I figger I can start all over (albeit at an advancing age!!) and I am genuinely interested how other slightly more normal people deal with things.

Yes, I did ignore my gut instinct at times. I should know better - but who am I to think my gut is always right?

I have been reading lots of stuff and trying to take on new ideas and ways of looking at things. Don't want to throw a pity party for what has happened because it has led to me meeting a gorgeous gorgeous boy who I think is THE ONE (my guts thinks so - but is your guts ALWAYS right??)

I need to treat people they way they want/need to be treated, not how I THINK they would like to be treated.
Not sure if I have explained this very well. Trying to change into a better and nicer person.

I feel slightly Libran at the moment - I'm reading He's Just Not That Into You and wondering do I now forget all the positive thinking stuff that I have been drumming into my head and just give up? Trying to weigh things up, can't get it to even out. Do you Libras wonder about stuff all the time? Pondering? I hate it - feel like I should be doing something.
