Can placements change an ENTIRE Aries personality?

I work with this guy who happens to be an Aries...but his personality is so inconsistent with how an Aries is described. After all, I have an Aries dad (yikes!)

For a Scorpio, I get along with him REALLY well! I thought we were supposed to clash big time.

Could a strong sign like this be altered by those placements?

Woe is me. What did I do to deserve this?! 😉

His rising sign is Gemini, just like me. He is actually a pretty mellow guy and apparently, it takes a lot to get him angry. He is actually a very successful work man and very driven for sure. But he is pretty easy going when it comes to down time and people. I love Aries as friends and my dad is a very classic Aries, but this guy doesn't fit the picture for me! He is super sweet, tolerant, and compassionate. A little too much I think! I wonder if his placements have a lot to do with that. It leaves me scratching my head. And you know, us Scorpios want all the answers! Haha

I would say yes to this.

I have same except Taurus moon with my rising in Scorpio.

One of my close friends is a Scorpio and another is Pisces I actually get on quite well with all the water signs. However romance can be tricky lol

My moon is in the 12th house. Does that change things or something? I don't feel like I fit the Leo moon criteria whatsoever.

I don't really have a hard time expressing "emotions" in general per say, but my REAL emotions and the real inside of me, yes. I try really hard not to show much emotion when it comes to certain things. So yes, that's pretty accurate when it comes to true feelings. I've always been like that.

I'm still a Scorpio so if I get angry that can go out the door, but you REALLY have to push me off the edge, and it takes a while.

Well, according to my chart, I am 1 degree in Leo. But I behave more like a cancer moon, not a Leo moon. I don't feel like I have an ounce of Leo in me. I don't know, maybe I do and I don't realize it. My Leo sister says I'm in between but she says I lean a lot towards cancer. My sister is a Leo and we are opposites, for sure. Her and my Aries father get along wonderfully. Me and him clash sometimes, but I love him to death, haha.

not entirely change it...but it can accentuate and maybe hose down some aspects. Deep down inside he's still an aries, but probably has other influences. Earthy arians may come across as different at first

My last guy complained that I never told him things I was interested in or liked to do and he said I asked him all these questions and it's like I knew more about him than he did about me. I kind of liked to hear that though because it meant that I kept some parts of me intact and hidden lol. Which I'm glad for because obviously he is now my ex (Cancer guy/Aries moon= yikers). I don't brag about myself if that's what you mean.

Hmm, I'm actually not really sure. I think I am a pretty serious person and not overly enthusiastic or anything even around those people I care about. I like to use the word "passionate" better. I'm very passionate and it shows with the people I care about. Not romantically, but just in general. Although that can apply romantically too when I finally let down my guard.

OP, his chart is very similar to mine, except I've Aries Venus. Pisces Rising though.

Aries with cancer moon and lots of pisces are blurred by the later sign. Our mind is 'blurred', if that makes any sense. Also a little passive in most matters, but strangely driven in unexpected moments.

I get along with Scorpios as much they want us to. So for instance, my drummer is cool but we don't really hang out. That's ok. Then there's a coworker of mine that I consider a good friend. Sometimes we go get some beers, and even went to a show last weekend.

Our type has a tactile and flexible personality, in the sense that we can let Scorpios dominate when they want to. We like to give people what they want.

Some advice I'd like to give you ('cause I love to write about myself LOL)...

I don't know his rising sing, but in my case (pisces), Scorpios tend to see and hear and get more from my facial expression and things I say, than there really is. In reality we're very simple, so don't over analyze what he says or do. The Aries Sun still makes us plain and direct in the way we move, speak and react. Still animal-like.

So if you caught me laughing on your back, it's probably because I realized my shirt was on the wrong side out or something. Or I just remembered a terrible joke my cousin told me like ten years ago. Not laughing at you unless I said so.

Also, cancer moon can make us very irritable one moment, then very sulking, then very happy and forgiving. Sometimes we'll be so naively happy and tactless that we'll possibly say something that hurts our scorps and never ever realize that.

Don't get me wrong, I really love the sign of Scorpio. But sometimes, they have a unique and almost invincible way of hurting us with just a couple of words, which is intimidating as shit. And when they do that to hurt us because we have hurt them before, it's still very confusing. We probably never realized you were hurt.

So when the time comes and he pisses you off, be sure to say it right away that you're offended and that he should never do that.

In both posts I really do feel like you described him. Yes, he is definitely more giving for sure. That is why I was really surprised he was an Aries. Because I have seen many placements in Aries and the fire sign still shines through for sure. His rising is Gemini just like mine. He is more gentle than anything. And yes, he does get moody, gloomy, or depressed but he handles that fantastically as he is aware and snaps out of it quickly. And if has ever made someone feel bad he is quick to apologize. Funny because I already had a hunch he was was a cancer moon before I looked up his birth chart.He seems pretty evolved in a mature sense so that's good.

Lol might be different with men, but my fire certainly isn't completely out I can assure you lol

I think all the water makes me a lot deeper emotionally when I eventually let someone in, romantically that is.

I'm a very friendly person and tend to get on with most people I meet.

I have Earth and Air and Fire all over my chart. Not much water, and very grateful to that. Blekh.

I am softer than most Aries, I take into account peoples feelings, their reactions and the reprecussions of actions. I am not that impulsive, and I don't get mad at the drop of a hat...

Although I'm not the harsh Aries nature that you've maybe encountered in others, that doesn't mean that I don't sometimes say things that hurt without realizing it, or always take into account the effect of my doings. Sometimes I do impulsive things and fuck up big time...but it is always when I'm not watching it. And cursing...it slips out no matter where I am.

With free will, a person can mold themselves into what is they want to fix. But not all the way. An Aries will always be an Aries, and think "Me first" even if they spend their lifetime serving others. An Aries will always be impuslive, they will never be able to completely hide their impulses.

Their nature will always be their nature, whether they soften it with other natural placements, or through their own concious efforts. They will Always be Aries.

The cancer guy I was with had placements that probably were not that compatible with mine anyway. I know now not all cancer men are the way he is.

He is water heavy, thus the fire is a bit different. Believe it is there. If he is early in Aries (Close to Pisces/Cusp) he may have quite a few ways that seem like a Pisces but overall he will always have the smolder even if it is not as much of a clash as you and your dad are.

My dad and I did not clash and he was Scorpio. I am heavy chart wise in air and water. My sun is one of the few fire placements.

Thank you so much for your insight! =) I love my dad to death and we are actually really close, but we have had our heads butt a few times. Aside from that, I love the daughter and father relationship we have. We think k so differently but I learn learn lot because of it and he really tries to understand me but won't ever hesitate to say that he disagrees. Once he disagrees I know better than to argue the point, so instead I let him be "right" to avoid any sort of conflict. He is very black and white. Love that man =)

His mom is A Scorpio and she... Crazy and vicious I tell you. My dad doesn't ever talk to her and vice versa. She can hold a grudge for years.

My cancer/ Scorpio experience was absolutely TERRIBLE and I don't think that I could ever bring myself to date a Cancer man ever again (he was also an Aries moon). I thought we were supposed to be compatible but I have never had more problems in a relationship as I did in the four months I was with this guy.

So many emotions, silent treatment,getting offended easily (HIM) pushing and pulling, neglect, lots of selfishness on his part-and it was taking a huge toll on me. I lost so much weight, had constant anxiety, felt emotionally manipulated and abused and I was on edge all the time about the relationship.I gave so much...only to gain nothing.

It was mutual. And Cancer man had other placements too. You probably shouldn't assume that all relationships are the same. Also, who said I was pursuing him? I simply asked about his placements and I'm just curious about him.

I think it's funny you took the time to go to my other thread and copy and paste what what wrote on the Aries forum. I'm pretty sure I know what I said. I just didn't find your point funny or relevant to the question I asked. Thanks though.

The cancer guy I was with had placements that probably were not that compatible with mine anyway. I know now not all cancer men are the way he is.

Venus-Gemini
Mars-Taurus
Saturn,Uranus and Neptune- Capricorn

Well this Cancer guy is hardly a cancer...no 2 signs the same (except the slow planets in cappy), and all of them in the early stages of the zodiac. Meaning he's quite immature, selfish...


The dude with Aries, Cancer moon and a bunch of Pisces stuff would be much nicer, more considerate.
One thing about Pisces though, you may not see it right away but they tend to be manipulative, untrustworthy. They have a global, "cosmic" vision of things. Like, our little worldly affairs have little importance in the grand scheme of things. A Pisces can steal, lie and deceive and to him it's just "part of the game".
I don't want to jinx it, astrology isn't set in stone, but that is the general consensus. If he's honest then fine, great, he was raised well, and maybe astro is bullshit in this case. But just sayin.
