Anyone Else notice how Important Houses are in Synastry?

Ive traditionally looked at direct planetary aspects then I did some research on current and past relationships (family, friends, lovers etc) and noticed clear and distinct patterns with Houses, even more so than perfectly match signs... Anyone else notice this, if so please feel free to share.

Yeah, I've been really into planetary aspects to the houses.
This one person I knew from high school had pretty much all his planets in my 4th house.
I felt so uncomfortable with him. I felt like he could see through me and i liked my privacy a lot at the time.
Our relationship was awkward.

I get along well with people with their suns in my 1st house, especially their venus.
They're my ball of sunshine.

The more I dig around in this, the more I see houses are super important in synastry.

I have 4 planets in my cancer's 4th house..he always tells me how he feels homey with me, kinda wants to figure out a way we can shack up.. haha.

100% Agree, I feel the houses more intensely than planets which is odd, I'd like to get to the root of why.. haha.

At one point. But after seeing how different we were and how one little sign of him rejecting me felt like an avalanche, i stopped. It just felt invasive. Like if i felt comfortable, he could see it. If i was hiding something, he could see it. He's not family. I didnt want him. soooo it didnt really work out!

Yes, that's how I kinda feel too, interesting hearing your house perspective. From my planetary end I feel very deeply emotionaly.. painfully so, it scares me so I feel I sabotage it... I like your definition... an avalanche. Yes!

How do you feel them? I can't remember mine.

Its difficult for me to explain the "feeling."

I could make examples for you, but it would mean nothing if you aren't aware of how the houses operate.

You can go on astrodienst and enter your birthchart information (you need the exact time) and get your natal chart done, from there you can either contact a professional astrologer or study yourself how to read your houses and what they mean.

Once you get an idea of how your chart works for you, you can begin to notice how affected you are and what parts of your life etc.
