Capricorn with Scorpio rising.

I found this on the internet today and it totally explains me to a T. I always thought I was different from other Cappy females...I am a lot warmer and caring than most capps. I am so intrigued. What else am I missing. I was born 1-1-1976. Thanks.

As a fellow cap with scorpio rising, I really can only find positives associated with this combination.

It does indeed mean you're probably perceived as having more emotional depth. Your ascendant is basically your mask, so when people first meet you, they meet your scorpio persona and not your capricorn nature, though elements come through of course as they get to know you.

People very often talk about a more intense personality, courtesy of scorpio, being very strong-willed and seeming more in tune with your intuitive side. That coupled with the determination of capricorn is a strong combo indeed.

I would say it's a blessing - enjoy it.

Look to your moon and mars signs to get a more complete picture of how you express yourself - in love/with those you love (moon) and your passions/interests (mars).
