My challenge is to stop eating meat. I'm on day 13...its hard, sometimes meat would be the only thing I ate all day. Its hard, but I'm persisting.

What would you challenge yourself to do for 100 days?

I dont know, at this point Im not sure I need to challenge myself as I have no problem quitting bad habits or taking on challenges, for fun.

Quit caffeine 8 years ago

Quit TV 7 years ago

Quit smartphones a year ago

I cut all dairy from my diet a year ago

Quit meat for 90% a year ago (I eat fish probably once a month, beef probably once a month too, no chicken or pork). From my experience of going meatless for a few months (as well as eating mostly just vegetables and fruit now) you learn to listen to your body and what it needs at a particular moment in time. Going meatless for good is not for everyone and although it can be healthy for many, it can also be unhealthy for some. Rather than quitting meat cold turkey (no pun intended) I think people should evaluate their relationship with food, as a whole and make lasting changes from there on.

I also recently gave up meat.. I can’t say that I miss it, yet. I think cheese is harder for me to give up 🙁

I used to miss cheese as well, its temporary, trust me. At some point I started buying all these vegan cheese (it can be as nice or even nicer tasting than normal cheese) because I missed regular cheese, though now I notice I dont even need it anymore.

Its funny to notice - as you quit several unhealthy foods - how eventually the smell of those foods you used to love now give you just nausea lol

Well I'm challenging myself to not use social media apps such as Snapchat and Instagram as much because it took much of my productivity, and I just didn't get anything done. I became miserable. So, I'm unplugging everything and just focusing on the present moment, also focusing all my energy to myself, as I like to please people.

Trying to cut dairy, sugar and process food from my diet as well. So, that I could clear my guts out from all the nasty stuff I've been ingesting. 😩😓
