This text is a translation. Maybe the Pictures help you remember what it is about. I'm looking for the correct translation of the explained technik.

"The planetary chain is an energy relationship between the planets. It indicates the energies that are available to us and those to which access is difficult. This is the energy structure of a person. It shows the role that we play in life but not a component of personality.

In the early 1990s I have experienced this technique popularized by Guy Dupuis [...]. At that time, a Swiss astrologer, Madeleine Mass? discovered planetary chains in seminars with Guy Dupuis and Marie-H?l?ne Zoppi. [...]

The head of a planetary chain consists of
(1) planets in domicile
(2) and / or two planets in mutual reception
(3) and / or a planetary loop (—? probably a bad translation)

The head represents our first energy level. It indicates our spontaneous way of showing us in life.

There are at least two ways of building the chain.

(1) An individual chain by sing only the personal planets: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.

(2) A collective chain by using also the transpersonal planets which indicates how the individual fits into the collective. In this case we can use other planets than those specified above (eg Ceres ruler of the Virgo, Proserpine ruler of Taurus). I do not complicate things by adding exaltations ..."

I'll come with an example in the next post.

Let us take the themes of Dalai Lama's birth chart as an example.
Th?me du Dala?? Lama

Cha?ne individuelle Dala?? Lama

When there is only one chain, there is less freedom: for bad transits on the chain head give inhibition (the energy valve closes), involving some disasters (illness, imprisonment, exile ....).

An exceptional series with 7 levels: there is more awareness levels, more the way seems difficult to reach the end line, because the trailing planet is far from consciousness. The obligation of each planet is to assimilate the energy to transmit further. No escape in this chain! A difficult way!

This chain also gives an impression of lightness and balance (accentuated by Pisces Ascendant).
An idea of —??perfection. Saturn chain tail indicates a great frustration, like being exiled from his homeland, and his goal is to help in the liberation of his country. He'll be surrounded by people / structured ideas to achieve this goal and become a spiritual leader defender of his country. Jupiter dominates Saturn: a large acute perception and intuition, well-considered decisions, a person who analyzes the advantage and disadvantage of situations; a power, a significant authority.

The collective chain of Dalai Lama represent how he fits into the collective.

The two choices of Mercury:
(1) by Neptune and Saturn: it is the religious community for contemplation and study (which he did early in his life, but he arrived on the exil of a planet and faced frustration);
(2) Mercury or the Moon dominant: an objective reasoning, where reason prevails over the emotional nature.

The two choices of the Moon, Earth node:
(1) with Pluto, it was the power and recognition, but Jupiter is at exil: it can not get Affirmation and does not find its place in this way
2) to arrive at the trailing, he must follow his Sun-Cancer: high sensitivity and a deep attachment to the motherland is one of its reasons for existing, for which he has a deep identification. Imagination and inspiration, someone who assumes his Anima. Mars and Uranus chain tail: its a problem of independence made by non-violence.

Venus dominates the chain tail: the revolution, the protest action with Uranus or Mars may be experienced by him on a physical mode to free his country. But he tries to do so by a strong emotional intensity, a direct and open attitude on the part of a person who has trouble hiding his feelings, expressing in his own way his emotional states.

Now I try to apply this to my chart:

The head of the chain:
(1) I have no planets in domicile.
(2) I have Mars in Sag (with Jupiter as ruler) and my Jupiter is in Aries (with Mars as ruler). So the two planets are in mutual reception.
(3) I have a Stellium in Sag (hopefully the Translation to Stellium is right but I am not sure)

So there are two heads: Mars and Jupiter.
(1) Building the Mars branch:
(1.1) Which other sign is ruled by Mars? Scorpio. What do I have in Sc? Lilith and Neptune. But they are no personal planets. So this branch has only one planet: Mars.

(2) Building the Jupiter branch:
(2.1) Which other sign is ruled by Jupiter? Pisces. What do I have in Pi? It is Moon.
(2.2) Which other planets are in Sag? three others. (Aha I see this lead to an infinite loop)

(2.2.1) Mercury.
(2.2.1.1) Which other sign is ruled by in Mercury? Virgo. I have no personal planets in Virgo. So Mercury has no follow-up.
(2.2.1.2) Which other planets are in the same sign as Mercury? three others. Mars, Venus and Sun.

(2.2.2) Venus.
(2.2.2.1) Which signs are ruled by in Venus? Libra and Taurus. I have no personal planets in there. So Venus has no follow-up.
(2.2.2.2) Which other planets are in the same sign as Venus? three others. Mars, Mercury and Sun.

(2.2.3) Sun.
(2.2.3.1) Which sign is ruled by in Sun? Leo. I have no personal planets in Leo. So Sun has no follow-up.
(2.2.3.2) Which other planets are in the same sign as Sun? three others. Mars, Mercury and Venus

BTW Saturn stays alone. It has no place in the chain.

So this is my chain:

(Jupiter) ??---?? (Mars) and ( Saturn )
||||
||||??(Moon)
|||
|||??(Mercury)-----??linked to Venus, Sun and Mars
||
||??(Venus)-----??linked to Sun, Mercury and Mars
|
|??(Sun)-----??linked to Venus, Mercury and Mars

All in all my chart gives me different ways of energy flow when reacting to the events.

You can choose "Sign / house dispositor graph" under Pullen/Astrolog.
click to expand

Thank you 1000 times, dear friends. I'm going to check it. And see if my hand made chain has one hair of correctness to it.

Do you all agree with the energy flow for yourself?

So far I got this

"The dispositor graph shows which of your planets have influence over each other and in what domain. Next is to check these planets' positions in your chart, their signs, and houses, as well as aspects. You can have a "strong" planet, but if it's isolated and doesn't aspect anything, it's essentially locked away."

I don't know how to post mine, but I don't understand it. My dominant "planet" is the sun and the second is pluto or the moon, depending on the input of asteroids(I like to add Lilith, Chiron, Ceres, Pallas, Juno and Vesta and with these, I get pluto as my second dominant planet and without I get the moon). This I don't see at all, which I thought I would since I thought they would take this into account when counting the dominants. Do you recognise this too?

And I found this

"I could give two examples of final dispositors that are particulary interesting.

Pope John Paul II and Adolf Hitler both had their charts final dispositor Venus.

May 18, 1920, 5:30 om EET, Wadowice, Poland
Apr 20, 1889, 6:30 pm LMT, Branau Inn, Austria

A final dispositor is the natal planet located in its domicile that "disposits" all other planets. In Pope John Paul II's case Mars in Libra is disposited by Venus (Libra ruler), Saturn in Virgo is disposited by Mercury in Taurus (Virgo ruler), which in turn is disposited by Venus (Taurus ruler) and so on for all planets in their charts.
There isn't a final dispositor in a chart where no planets is in its domicile or where there're several in their domicile. Even if there's only one planet in its domicile it doesn't necessarily mean that there's a final dispositor. Depends from case to case.

Going back to the two examples - two persons born with Sun in Taurus, Libra rising and Venus in Taurus as the final dispositor... How similar is that? yet they had such different destinies.

The explanation for this huge difference is given by Venus' status:
in Hitler's case - Venus is retrograde, and aspecting both malefics (conjunct Mars and square Saturn) - so Venus' is manifesting its worst qualities. In Pope JP II's case, Venus is direct, and aspecting Jupiter and Neptune (religious planets)."

what's so great about pope john paul though?

Clooney, are you thinking in DJ's school? The text was not about being great. Bu this:

" two persons born with Sun in Taurus, Libra rising and Venus in Taurus as the final dispositor... How similar is that? yet they had such different destinies."

(still we can start the talk about all the people born at the birth time of Hitler. Astrology is always living from our mercifulness)

You know Astrology is a self-service studio. Whatever new box they open, there'll be different schools to it.

I just read a discussion on astroweekly about taking Mars or Pluto as Ruler of Scorpio. There are dispositor hierarchies with both methods.

In my OP (the source) it is mentioned that if you take Ceres etc. into account it is called "collective". But do the different schools of Astrology have the same ruler for Lilith, Chiron, Ceres and co? I am not sure.
