Of course I am a Taurus female with Taurus in Venus. I dress to impress. Ill tell you.

A Taurus takes along time to get ready spend about an 1-2 hours. I choose my outfit according to my mood. I pick my outfits according to the weather also. After I spend 30 minutes picking. I select. My indecisive attitude is a bitch.

Then I move to my hair which takes 30-40 depending what style . and I get pissed off if it doesn't look right. I will cancel a date.

Then hop in shower with my best shower gel. Hop out and get dressed, do my hair. Then I move to my makeup.

My makeup probably the fastest out of everything I do to for the entire look. Image is everything. I take pride in how I look. I do have the confidence to pull it off. Without trying.

After all that I select my perfume.
If I don't like my outfit when I am finished. I will change the whole look.

How long do you guys/girls take to get ready for a date or whatever occasions you have planned?

What is an average time to get ready?

Any of you get cancelled at the last minute? What did you do? Break up and never speak to him/her again.

YOU guys have it easy and have no idea what it takes to get ready to meet you.

And one more thing since I take along time to look great. I expect you to be proper too.

And I have had Gemini and Sagittarius male do that fucking cancellation at the last minute. Grrrr. Or they tell me wait till I call you then leave. I wait forever. That's fucked up.

I take 2-21/2 hours to get ready lol. I'm Aries/Taurus cusp & I'm in the fashion industry so looks are important to me. My Taurus bf always takes long too _— sometimes longer than me. And he's so self-conscious about how he looks lol the Leo rising doesn't help either

If you are just dating there is no breaking up to be done. You just don't call them anymore.

That's easy for you to say. Do you have any idea how much time it takes for a man to get ready?
And if we organised the date there probably was a couple of hours of planning beforehand.
Or the hours put in to pay for that date. 😛

My male taurus bff is the worst dresser ever. It's an inside joke between us at this point. He just doesn't have any shits to give.

I dress for myself not others so I give 0 fks what anyone thinks. but I have noticed that I get copied a lot (not really ok with it, you should be yourself and wear stuff you feel good in).

Well I am not vain. I just really like to dress up and I get flustered with myself. Cause if I don't look great, then my mood changes and I don't want it to be an awkward moment. So it's ok to cool off and try another day or suck it up and go anyways and put my game face on. And shoot some pool.

I want to know who takes pride and precise judgment when we get ready of the first date.

Hey I have an ego so what. I am a narc and yeah that first date initially before I meet up. Is all in my head and lots of mental preparation. After I leave and meet you. Its all about you and your ego.

Everyone has a preference of what they like to wear. Just seeing if I am taking way too long or if there's a better sun sign that goes all out for the first date.

I thought physical attraction on the first date is important. Actually It's a standard for most people I know.

The Taurus' that I've known all have been very well dressed and "fashionable". A taurus I dated had 8 different watches to go with various outfits, billions of shoes, over 100 shirts and like 20 jeans, matching hats and would always try to style his hair. He golfed a lot too so he would try to do his hair in a way that looked great in his visor. "I have visor hair" was a constant quote. UGH. Once, he let me dress him. He shunned half of it away because "That's a shirt I wear for dates", "Those jeans are for at night", "that watch is for brown suits only" and "Lets see if you get the shoes right".

So, what I picked out was for a date night and NOT getting breakfast and going grocery shopping. He also would change his clothes at least 3 times a day.

Me, I always look nice without much effort. I get nice combos or things that can be worked into other things that I own. Designer jeans, unique tops you won't usually find and I usually get constantly complimented with my flannel ensembles. One girl was so excited by my outfit she dropped her drink right in front of me. How much effort did I put into that outfit? "I want to wear.. red!". To get ready for a date, like a first date, taking my time, about 45min/hour including shower. If my hair is already dry, takes like 10min to get dressed and out the door. I only own what I know I'm going to wear and look amazing in so selection is fast.

2 hours to get ready? i'd rather sleep. i dont care much about fashion or what's the latest trend. esp if I know I don't look good in it. we all have a different body type so I wear clothes that flatter my body type instead. i'd rather be comfortable in what I'm wearing. that's the top priority. I don't like clothes that fit too tightly either. it feels suffocating for me.

Haha I feel that the Taurus you described. This is how you can describe a Taurians' fashionable trait that we have. Come take a tour in my closet.

I would not go to a sports arena and wear heels. I would feel uncomfortable. And if I step on some kind of crack that my stiletto heels manages to fit the groove. I may be in some pain if I broke my ankle trying to look cute. So I think really hard about what outfit is appropriate.

Wow ten minutes lucky you. Wish I could pull that off. Just me getting ready for work takes 30-40 mins. If I am running late. I would be just 20minutes. If I showed up to work without anything done. I don't hear the last of it from people. Cause I am always looking fresh for work. Geezus.
