No 'how to do it' book can close unloving gaps, overcome psychological or physical blocking or your fear of being found sexually unable to conform to her (his) 'excessive sexual demands.'

Your sexuality is more than an itch that needs scratching or a sneeze that needs sneezing-it is a vital, complicated, strong - yet delicate - life force that can be displaced, iced over, disregarded, boxed up, used for power, reassurance, and even degradation. Or you can rejoice in it as a gift and share it with joyfulness, responsibility and tenderness."

That's enough psycho bable for one night! Geez, why make it so damn hard! It doesn't have to be!

Bonding is a wonderful experience, it's just when the other person let's go and that cord pops back to your heart like a big ol rubber band that he hurts so much.
It does make you a litte unavailable the next go round.
With my luck, if I tried to find a therapist, I'd fall in love and he would be emotionally unavailable.

That happens all the time. I still find that interesting that people fall in love with their therapist. Find one that your not attracted to! When I was seeing mine, I always checked myself and asked that very question. They do have all the answers so I could imagine how it would happen. I use to piss mine off too much! LOL
