Born in Retrograde

If you are born during, say a venus retrograde, when that planet goes retro, is that retro work out better for you than one who is not born in that time?

I have 4 planets rx in my chart. I'm not sure about others, but it goes either way for me depending on what sign the rx falls in. Sometimes it goes well and in my favor. Other times, like merc rx in pisces, doesn't go as great... Just waiting for the 18th when it goes direct.... :/
