Capricorn man/Taurus woman....NEED HELP ASAP!!!!!

Met a great capricorn man at a party, danced, laughed, and talked the entire night!!! Had several long conversations on the phone for three days and went out on casual date for late night coffee. During discussions he learned that I dated one of his friends over 20 years ago. He stated that he is having a hard time dealing with this, so I advised him that I would give him space to figure things out. Thus far, he has DISAPPEARED with no communication for two weeks.

Any suggestions on my next steps, as I really like this guy and would like to get to know him more—?

Yes, he is still friends with the guy. They hang out every now and then riding bikes (motorcycles). I dated the guy for a 1 1/2 years when I was 18 - 19. I am now in my late 40's.

No, i am scorpio.
It's very hard for a man to accept that the woman he loves or wants to be with has slept with his best friend before, it would be hard to live with that for him.
But anyway, ifyou wnt him that bad, then contact him, you will lose nothing, it's the opposite you will gain your peace as you will know for sure if he is gone forever or will be back forever.

#1 I don't think his friend dateing you has anything to do with it. being a capricorn in the modern world dateing some one who has been (shall we say close to one of your friends) is not a factor lets face it if that is the factor this guy will be a lonley old man.

#2 how old is this guy is he around your age say 45 to 50 you say you are late 40,s is he quite abit older or younger? could be a factor. give you an idea I meet a bird in the pub this weekend she was chating me up a bit suggested we get together for drinks. found out in conversation shes 25 fuck Im 43 this friday what do I have in common with her besides fucking each outher half to death?

#3 what other factors are out there are you both single? same back ground if the chap is in his 50's and a brit for some in that age group social standing still matters. that is why I like america and have spent a good deal of time there class doesn't matter like it does here. a coal miners grand son from wales can make it with a high class bird and not to many look down on her or him. I might even have a shot at a high class bird from say somewhere like Kansas.

He will be 43 tomorrow and I will be 42 in April. He's a recent divorcee (5 months), I'm single never been married. We are in the same class, college graduates, high morals, etc, etc. (We live in America).

Based on all of the responses received so far, I am going to assume that he is not interested and used the friend situation as an excuse. However, I cannot imagine what happened to change his mind, as everything seemed to be going so well.

To be quite honest, I didn't get a chance to ask him point blank if he was seeing anyone, having sex with someone without any restrictions, etc. etc. We were truely in the early stages of the new found friendship/getting to know you stage.

Oh well, at this point I am confident in myself/abilities and will just let this one go, as it is his loss!!!!

I am not going to contact him because I do believe in being pursued by the man, and since I told him that I was giving him his space...then if he wants me....he will contact me.

As you can see, he doesn't want me...hence the no response.
