Dating By Starsign

How big a part does someone's starsign play in your decision to date them?
Or does it play any part at all?
I know from observation and interaction that most people do show the traits that are generally
associated with their starsign, but not all !!!

The worst relationship I ever had (Platonic) was with a Virgo - absolute Hell
Yet as a Capricorn, its supposed to be a perfect match.
I must admit, If i meet someone new and it looks promising, I do try to discreetly find out what
their sign is.....just out of curiosity :-)

I have to agree with the first sentence a great deal. Pretty interesting, all in all...

What I did was to look back at my friends and my ex. I did this after I came to DXP, you see. I was quite struck by what I discovered. Huh, maybe there are reasons I have associated with who I have associated with.

The ex is a scorp, I am Aries, of course. The relationship was pretty much as described in many places. Lots of sex, intense at many levels, and ended over control issues. Rather curious, all in all....

Do I look at the sign etc of someone I am finding interesting. Matter of fact I do. But, as dogsbody points out, more to look for guidelines, rather than actual expectations.

As a small detail, as my "dating" is very, very limited (non-existent), I rather expect I don't have much actual insight to offer. I still like to look up any potential candidate just to see.

Never, but I've noticed a pattern to the people I have dated and their natal chart in relation to mine.

You should check it out, it's interesting. REally, I wouldn't date someone because they were compatible to me, as a matter of fact, if I looked up a synastry chart on that other person, i'd probably ethier find out things I already knew, or things I shouldn't be looking into the first place that might mess me up.

IOW , it takes the fun out of dating for me.

^^^ yeah, i agree it's like this with every element match...understand how each other work, have intimate knowledge of the best pressure points. not pretty.
