Differences between Squares/Oppositions from your experience

I have some Squares and Oppositions in my chart, but I feel like the Squares are slightly more "conscious" or a more constant flow of energy than the Oppositions, which are more like occasional bursts or push/pull feelings. Both are pretty unconscious, but from my experience, Squares are slightly stronger and more present on the surface in both natal charts and Synastry.
