Posted by duchesslibroI like that! 🙂
Just sharing some blurbs from a site I like,

"Please, please, don’t disown parts of your chart. When you do, you tie a big energetic knot that becomes harder and harder to work out..
Empowering Astrology is all about consciousness. How do you bring consciousness to the parts of your chart that are complicated? Messy? Still hurt when you press on it?
..Please don’t think your planets are bad or the reason for x, y, and z in your life. Every planet — even planets strongly placed — has a high side and a low side. We have to bring the highest consciousness to every planet in our chart regardless of placement, strength, elevation, and detriment. Some of the hardest working, most talented, and high achieving people have complicated, messy charts. Why? Because they took the resistance and transmuted it into something better."

Posted by supreme99.9% huh? I hadn't thought it was so prevalent. I just ignore the crap mostly and bounce around maybe ࿤5-6 sites mostly gathering themes and ideas that relate to whatever I'm interested in and then kind of form my own summary of what I. found.
^^That's 99.9% of astrology sites. They make you see the worst in yourself and other's. Fill your mind with "dark" matter.

Posted by tizianiDo you mean for example.. how some completely deny the mixed energy of cusps? As if each planet comes to a halt before any bit of it crosses the "line" of the next sign and then hops 100% over into the next the moment it changes? No mixed energies!! No no! Impossible! lol. The black and white dogmatism of that particular concept seems silly to me.
I just don't like political correctness or astrologers that shoehorn conformism.
Posted by tizianiDo you prefer they be vague regarding the 12th?
For example, a lot of modern astrologers are incredibly vague about the 12th house because it really does involve thinking outside the box. I think that's been a good yardstick measure for me in just how head-on an astrologer is willing to go.click to expand

Posted by ScenicI also have several "unpopular" placements. If we choose to make it positive I think it van really help us grow. Because they are considered unlucky we have to look deeper and work harder to accentuate the positive aspects!
This is a nice reminder. Most of my placements don't have a good rep or are looked down upon and it's hard to accept all of that. I'm still struggling to accept them, but I'll try to look at the positives more often. It's good to see a positive thread around these parts!
