One air moon, today, completely outed the other air moon, who had committed a

I feel so so wierd. I even try to shift the conversation to something more safe, but nope they bring it right back.
its all too much. I have libras friend talking bout aquas and vice versa. All these friends talking about each other.

Sometimes they gossip about someone just to get over some frustration/insecurity, and the next second be close to that same person like nothing happened because they didn't really mean what they said.

Doesn't everyone talk about everyone though? I've never really been in a workplace or social situation where discussing the lives of others didn't happen. It's been universal across all signs in my observation. Some people are certainly more malicious and negative about it, but for the most part when people get together and catch up, topics veer into what others are saying, doing and what we think of their choices.
I agree. My Libra friend will gossip about me, but I catch myself doing the same. Sometimes venting is healthy imo. I feel all people will find resons to be annoyed about the way their friends/family are. I guess there is a fine line between venting and attempting to ruin someones reputation.
My mom (Aqua) talks behind people's back but looks at like I'm crazy when I'm talking about people. Then, when I call her out on her hypocrisy, she denies it and of course acts like I'm the crazy one.

When I say 'gossip,' I mean making disparaging comments or sharing
info that was told in confidence or speculating on someone's
character etc... not who is dating whom or who is doing what blah

I'm an air sign and my chart is air dominant and I'm far from two face and wouldn't tell anyone things someone confided in me with confidence or otherwise. I get asked about things from others and I won't spill any info. I figure if a person wants you to know certain things they'll tell you themselves or you've already know.
I'm known as the 'quiet one' at work because I tend to keep to myself but it's because I've seen and experienced people there talking about me and twisting my words around. The two biggest gossips at work are a Pisces and Capricorn Sun and they'll tell everyone's business then try to pretend they didn't. I don't feel gossip is actually sign specific because as someone said already, it seems everyone talks about everyone.
It really depends on the person, because all of the signs gossip. I've heard gossip from Virgo, Cancer, Taurus, Capricorn, etc.
The two signs that I have least experienced this with are Pisces and Aquarius. Everyone else just needs to shut the fuck up.

...there is a difference between being down right malicious, ganging up on people, ruining their lifes and trying to set people up and the usual petty gossip.None is a saint, but at least there's a lot of people who can own up to their sometimes crappy behaviours, come clean about it, learn from it and move on. Then there's others who put up the saint act but really are evil to the bone.
Agreed. I primarily see this type of behavior in Gemini and Virgo, but sometimes even Cancer Suns, Leos and Libras can be assholes.

I'm inclined to chalk it up (malicious gossip) to immaturity because I think
that is the case, often-times (though not always).
Case in point: I work with two Scorp suns, who have H4 Leeb moons.
The first (Cancer Mars, Moon conj Jupiter) will talk about anyone and everyone--
she has admitted it, with a shrug.
The second (Pisces Mars, Moon conj Pluto) flatly refuses to talk about
anyone, attributing it to (as she put it), '... knowing exactly how it feels.'
The main difference between the two?
Twenty years.
Im a cancer/virgo and i dont like to gossip.

I do realize that everyone talks about everyone. We can only talk about the weather for so long.

Yes you can. If they have Scorpio or Taurus placements.My gem bestie has heavy Taurus influence, she never gossips. Only does with people close to her...same with my Aqua friend with Scorpio moon. Although, she isn't AS trustworthy as my Gem because she has other air placements.

i only have one air placement, but i do have air houses. (going into DEEPER astrology here than just placements)
and i like very much celebrity gossip. I dont know why. i just enjoy it. Those individuals feel like they are gods/goddesses and can do no wrong.

Like today, i read on the news about how Amal and George Clooney went to Ibiza and Amal is dubbed the most highly fashionable dressed woman. I thought aw look at that!! I bet she spends thousands on her clothes and shoes. I would hope she gets discounts or some bargains too. But those two make alot of money to care about bargains and discounts.
Then i saw that there are famous people like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie making their own brand of alcohol!!! wow only the RICH and wealthy can do that.

I always say this to my co workers family and friends. If you are talking about some one and your not encouraging change or positivity then you are gossiping. Any form of talking about others that is not constructive is gossip as well. So next time you open your mouth and realize your bashing then you are a gossiper.

Some (keyword: some) fire signs I know spend most of their time talking about other people. Sagittarius and Aries Suns in particular are bullies. They observe what other people do then bring up embarrassing details about their observations and use them as insults just for fun.
As far as water signs are concerned, I've noticed that Cancers engage in the most gossip out of the three. Scorpio and Pisces just don't seem to care.
Earth signs love it. Capricorns, in particular, have a tendency to create rumors and spread them, with the help of their trusty Taurus friend(s). Virgos just talk about people behind their back; usually criticism.
Out of all the Aquas that I've met, I only know of one who absolutely loves gossip; the rest don't care for it. The other two signs, on the other hand, love gossip. I'll agree that Libras are two-faced and Geminis just enjoy making other people look bad so that they look good in comparison..
I've never had a problem trusting an air sign to keep their yap shut. One Gem baby and an Aqua. Childhood friends though, so...

OK, I'll admit that as a person with a very airy chart, I talk about people. But I don't spread malicious rumors or pit people against each other. If I do talk, it's generally about something that bothers me but isn't bad enough to cause an issue by bringing it up to the person. Or it's just updating, like "I heard she left x worklace to go to x workplace".
For me the negative talk is more like venting than gossiping to me.
I mostly talk to my SO, but if I'm talking to someone I know has the same issues as I do, it's more like commiserating than trying to start something. I like hearing things from other people but it stops with me I don't like creating problems between pwople so if someone tells me something about someone else I keep it to myself.

Its not so much how chatty air signs are, its about the fact that 2 out of three of them don't have the balls to say it to your face.
I'm an Aquarius and I would never betray a person's trust. Not all Aquas are gossipers, and as far as drama is concerned many of us run from it.

I'm a libra but have a lot of scorpio influence in my chart. I have gossiped very few times. The times I did came back to bite me in the butt, and it wasn't even gossiping to gossip...it was more venting...but yeah the aholes I vented to told the person I was venting about so they are gone.I'm a vault. I don't like to gossip and I don't seek it out. If someone tells me gossip, I don't really pay attention.
See now I don't see what you did as gossip but what they did is. To me it's about intention. They said stuff to stir shit up; you didn't. Meddling in other people's shit is gossipy to me. The rest is just talking.
pretty much what @sultrykitty said. There is shit I am taking to the grave and it's not even my shit. And even when I vent, I never say anything I wouldn't say to the person's face, although I may be nicer about it.
Hmm regarding air signs, the gossip I've seen from libras is trying to start fights between two sides while remaining a neutral but profiting person in the middle. Gemini will gossip out of boredom and aquarius will only do so if they are really angry with or dislike someone.

So air signs talk alot and they like to gossip. I don't like to gossip, makes me feel wierd.
the air signs I know all talk about other people, including each other, nonstop. Then ironically, they complain that the others talk to much and have big mouths.
I seriously have to watch my words, im not 100% sure they wont be repeated. I never feel safe in a conversation with an air sign.
