well I'm not exactly sure what you're getting at, but if you're saying what I think you are, (that being that the 4th house does have a significant meaning becuase it is (at least in my understanding) the home, and domestic affairs) you're absolutely correct....home lives are the origin of so many ouf our beginnings and first steps towards, becoming model citizens, or social deviants....it really starts with the mother/home.....that said, it could probably explain why Cancer is a cardinal sign.....
I dunno. But my profile says I have a few planets in this house. Therefore, we can assume it indicates greatness in all aspects of life.

I think the fourth house deserves a hell of a lot more credit than it gets nowadays.
I read about Mars in the fourth house, stating that energies manifest INSIDE the home, but it's more than that. Michael Jordan has this placement, for one.
Doesn't the fourth house signify great, deep meaning? You feel it to your core.
Not just home matters, I'd say.
