How do you read your chart? (eg: House..etc)

I am learning to read the astrology chart and I got some great insight from people on here, thanks to Hotbeefy too!

I am making this thread so that others can also learn to read their chart as I've seen such questions asked randomly on unrelated threads.

- How do you choose the right patterns of lines drawn? Is there a maximum number of patterns?(eg: T Sqaure, Kite ..etc)

- What do these letters stand for or mean, on table of charts from astro.com) ("F" "A" "E" "W" and "C" "F" "M")

- How do I know that my for example, my Venus "Squares" neptune or sun "Squares" moon, where do you read it on the chart?

- How do you know your house or houses on the chart?

Feel free to add more questions to this thread, and I hope you guys have answers for me🙂

I forgot to mention also, eg: sun "Opposite" moon/pluto... etc

4. The starting line of each house will point to the sign that is the ruler of that house in your chart

Thanks a lot! About no.4 I'm not sure if you mean the line on the chart? or in the table? I'm so at loss with houses. I only know that they appear in the center of my chart as numbers.

Do I have one house? or a house in each planet? that was also confusing me

The exact aspect (0 degree or orb) is more powerful than wide orb.

How do I know the degree of an aspect? and how do I know if it's orb.?

could sound like a silly question lol
