Libra Promiscuity?

I keep reading that Libras of both sexes are promiscuous and typically get started at a young age.

Now, I only know ONE Libra so only have him to go by, but this certainly fits him (or did). He lost his virginity at age (get this!) 12, and for many years he was "having lots of fun" shall we say. Now he's over that stage.

So, I was hoping you guys would weigh in and tell me if this is really a Libran "trait" or one of those descriptors that just doesn't fit.
