Yes. Thats what i think is judgmental and wrong. For example. A "taurus" goes out with a "scorpio". The relationship doesnt work out. Now i think its wrong to blame someone based off of what they are. Thats what racism and sexism is. Its ok if you say you blame them for what they did. But you cant say its because theyre a taurus or a virgo or whatever. Also its wrong to assume that just because another "taurus" tries to go out you and you got out of a bad relationship with one, doesnt mean you should turn them away. Now if you dont want to be in a relationship period, thats another story. And im sure not everything you people talk about here is crap but from what ive seen and what ive heard, im appauled.

Who is blaming whom? We are merely stating some character traits of people born under certain zodiac. There are so many foolish ideas within astrology and then there are unchangeable natural laws embedded within these character traits. Certain signs dont make a good match with certain other signs. We humans might wish to think it may make, but reality wont change because we just happened to wish against what nature has fixed. Now a gemini might get interested in a scorpio because of their mysterious nature and might get caught in thier manipulative nature and the feeling of security, but that doesnt mean gemini goes well with scorpio. gemini person tends to think that they go with scorpio. So if we can remove all the psychological factors which blind our natural needs, we can find some unchangeable laws of nature within astrology. It takes some pain to figure them out bcoz we ourselves are stuck inside those same psychological factors and will avoid finding truth bcoz it hurts.

Now calling those same laws as judgmental is same as labeling nature as judgmental. It might sound like "Just because few apples fall to the earth doesnt mean all apples should fall. We should not turn away those apple trees who wish to throw their apples into the sky"

I understand this. But, let me say, my mom is a "scorpio". She is not mysterious in the least. Shes loud, obnoxious and really annoying at times. And you sound like a decent person. Astrology is whatever you make of it. No one has control on another's perception. You can take the high road, learn and appreciate astrology for what it's mean't to be, or the low and use it to label, judge or avoid certain people. Like i've always said; people first, astrology second to fill in those missing pieces. Astrology is very real; and not exactly debatable for me, anyway. I can only respect and tolerate another's veiwpoint, yet hold true to myself. And btw, 'whole planet' astrology is alot better then basically sun alone. If you're only viewing someone by their sun-sign, then of course you'll get your cynics.

Whatever you hear from this world is a totally fckedup version of mans idea of what he think this world is all about. You have a lot of racist, religious and feminist nonsense. Once upon a time, we had scientific nonsense fed to us by catholic church. Those days church preferred the geocentric model over heliocentric model. Bcoz the former one gives us some self importance. Nobody wants to accept that human beings are one among the million species who walk on this planet. Instead we all prefer to think that we are some imaginary God's blessed kids who were sent to earth to rule this planet. Bcoz that makes us feel important. In reality we are nothing but the most senseless monsters ever lived on this planets history.

Astrology was also explained quite well during the middle ages and church actually promoted it. Bcoz every time something new happens in the sky, it gave them a privilege to take it as God's signal to invade another country. Astrology had and still carry a lot of religious reasons like once astronomy had. We still say "God gives u pluto's mystic lights to shine upon you which will bring you luck this week". Astronomy took a new dimension out of religious context from Kepler and Astrology remained the same. No one ever cared to study it in detail in a scientific fashion and scientists who are suppose to be scientific, carry a strong prejudice against astrology. Bcoz common mans knowledge of astrology is that astrology is all about predicting your future based on your stars. Its viewed as a means to remove our anxiety about tomorrow. Not as a possible law of nature which govern your character traits and intelligence.
We only see how others behave. We dont know what goes inside their head and how it happens which made them behave the way they behave. From what I have learned so far, Astrology is not about what you see. Its all about what happens inside your head. All those complex calculations which determine your behavior and character. Also its different from each persons perspective. Bcoz what you see and understand is also based on how things happen inside your head. So unless two people belong to the same zodiac(forget abt the reasons based on stars), they cannot observe the same behavior in a subject. What I think is sexy might look like ugliness to your eyes. Bcoz your brain decodes the information in a very diff way.

Rath, what does it matter to you what people on these boards think? Some people like/believe in astrology, some don't. Big deal. Personally I find it interesting to see certain traits in people that fit their signs, but as mysticfish says, it's not all sun signs, it's about other placements too. Perhaps you'd like to read more about that and come to your own conclusions.
