In forums. You know how some people jump into discussions while others just watch (while breathing heavily 😛)

Which planet would suggest someone's a lurker? Mars? Since it's the planet of action? Or Venus maybe as it represents socialising.


Do you lurk? Do you not? Do you lurk in real life? Do you like taking part or would you rather stant in the corner and watch?

Where's your Mars and Venus? Plus houses if you can!

My Mars and Venus are in fire and air in masculine houses. Not much of a lurker.

Most of the time I lurk (online and off). I prefer to call it "observing"

It depends on my mood whether I lurk or not. Usually I can't keep my mouth shut (or my typing fingers still) if something makes me mad or strikes a nerve though lol. I would say I don't lurk very often though.
My venus is in Aries and my mars is in Cancer. I think venus is in my first house and mars is in my fourth house.. but the house thing confuses me, so I'm not sure.

Another Venus in Aries Cancer in mars combo here 🙂 . I lurk at some things that peek my intresting and I know nothing about on here, but if I really think I can contribute or find it too interesting I will difinetly post. I do not think I lurk to much in the outside world unless again something really intrigues me then I feel like I have to :p .

when going through normal threads i barely read anyones posts, stopping when i see a person worth reading(the more anormal people)

I lurked for about a month or so - checking out the site and peeps. Me like. 🙂 So I just recently created an account and started posting. I cruise the boards and if I think I've got something to contribute, I post. Re: IRL - it is good to be observant, and good to participate... All about balance and choice.

Mars - Libra, 5th house

I don't lurk in real life and on sites... I can't help it. Sometimes I overhear a conversation and I hear people struggling to remember something and I know. I will pipe up and tell them. Most people are gracious some people give me that who in the hell was talking to you stare. Then I'm like fine I see that ignorance is bliss for you. Not that I'm all knowing (that would be so boring if you knew everything about everything), but if I can help out I will. I appreciate it when others do that for me. I have a heavy Virgo influence in my chart so yeah, that's probably where it comes from.

I do lurk I guess you can call it when I read a thread and I'm not interested so I won't reply or if I have nothing to add I won't reply as well. I'll post my chart.

Maybe the 3rd house too? Also, the aspects to those particular planets?

Mine are:
Venus in Aries in the 11th in Pisces.
Mars in Cancer in the 3rd in Cancer.

@Wasis: I saw your chart and it is very similar to mine. In terms of signs the only difference is the moon, mine is in Aries.

Makes me impulsive and bored when doing always the same thing but makes me take the action, when I am "in fire" I will just do what needs to be done.

I'm a Cancer Sun with Moon in Capricorn and Venus in Cancer.
I'm very much a lurker.
I don't really talk unless I have something important or valuable to say (even in real life). I don't want to make an ass out of myself by blurting out something stupid or irrelevant lol

If I was that worried about it I would create my own forum with passwords... etc. I'm already part of a forum like that.
