The "thirteenth constellation" of the zodiac is Ophiuchus the Serpent Bearer, and the sun is in front of its stars during the first half of December. About one person in twenty is an "Ophiuchus," but few of them know it.

"Scorpius November 23 to November 29"

First, they demote Pluto, and now they're trying to short the Scorpio period to six days...

Just so you know, we aren't going down without a fight.😛

The constellation Ophiuchus the Serpent Holder takes its storyline directly from the Greek God of Medicine Aesclepius who, while in the process of bringing Orion The Hunter back to life following an accident, was struck and killed by a thunderbolt hurled at him by Zeus, God of the Sky and Earth. It seems Zeus' brother Hades, God of the Dead, was alarmed at the prospect that Aesclepius' abilities might soon put him out of work. So he prevailed upon his brother Zeus to intervene in the matter. Blood of the Black Brotherhood being thicker than water (Politics vs. Morality), Zeus complied with the dark brother's request and dealt the death blow. To honor Asklepius (so the story goes), Zeus set him in the sky and gave him the Greek name "Ophiuchus."

DANMMIT, I WANNA BE AN OPHIUCHUS!
*Still trying to find proff this is a Hoax*

well, according to that, I'm a virgo, um, I really don't feel like a virgo, their characteristics are very different than mine.

This new Ophiuchus thing is really confusing, because it throws everything off, or do the characteristics for each sign have to change as well as the dates?

n the 2nd century, Ptolemy listed 29 stars in Ophiuchus. He recognised that most of those stars were north of the ecliptic (the path of the Sun through the sky) ? however, 4 of them (today known as 36 Oph, 42 θ Oph, 44 Oph and 51 Oph) he recognised as being south of the ecliptic. Therefore, the Sun passed through the constellation of Ophiuchus as it was recognised by Ptolemy. Many astrologers (incorrectly) state that the phenomenon of the Sun passing through Ophiuchus dates from a decision by the International Astronomical Union to adopt constellation boundaries in 1930 ? in fact, the phenomenon predates that decision by over 1,700 years.

The reason why Ophiuchus is not a part of the western astrological zodiac is because that zodiac is defined on the basis of the sun spending an equal amount of time in twelve astrological signs starting at the vernal equinox in the northern hemisphere ? this is called the tropical zodiac. There is also a sidereal zodiac, which is based on the actual location of the stars in the sky, and which is used by Hindu and some Western astrologers. At present, the sun is in Ophiuchus from November 30 to December 17.

I'm apparently a Pisces according to this guy which I'd say is a bunch of crap. I'd say I have too much of a temper to be a Pisces, nor do I have those dreamy shallow set eyes or short or tall and lanky frames. I have a tall strong frame (especially my legs, one guy said i have "boulder legs") with a little bit of chub (not obese, just a little husky) and focused looking eyes.
