Psyche (in Scorpio)

Can anyone tell me the basics on Psyche ? what it means exactly and it's relationship to Eros. My wife has this Psyche in Scorpio placement and I'm blaming it on her control freak type nature. Shes a Virgo w/ Gemini moon and has no other Scorp placements , her eros is Cappy.If you have any insights or expirience with Psyche in Scorpio PLEASE share and thankyou !

I have psyche in scorp and that description is pretty dead on for me. I think a lot though of the controlling nature can be from her being a virgo as well. Virgos need to be in control of everything ....it a blessing and a curse depending on the situation. I myself am more laid back in nature but I do have my controlling moments but thats really more for me than anything/anyone else.

The trust issues can also be because she's a virgo.
