Scorpio. Mars or Pluto?

Jupiter has moons bigger than Pluto. How could something that small and far away have any influence on what happens here? I kind of think it's not all it's cracked up to be.

Careful. You'll trigger people with Scorpio Pluto since this would eliminate their rational for claiming to be "Plutonian"

Just listened to Simon Benjamin and he said that in ancient times when they didn’t know about Pluto - Scorpios were assigned to a Mars when in fact Scorpios are ruled by Pluto.
However I’ve seen more than once here or always that Scorpios are ruled by Mars.
So where is the truth?
