Single Moms

Is it just me or is it that single moms seem a little more stable than normal girls with no children. Like single moms usually understand better and have a level head on their shoulder.

Etc, so many times that very little shocks them

anymore.

Normal girls don't have more of a responsibility because they don't have another soul(s) to take care of. As single mothers (I am one) we are the: Nurse, caretaker, chauffeur, therapist, teacher, provider, protector (we take care of our cub/cubbies), etc, etc, etc.

Normal girls, yet again, only have to take care of themselves.

I'm responsible when in "mom" mode. Play hard at least 1 night every other weekend when I'm not.

It's perfectly logical..

They are less self-centered with their other relationships as well. They have learned that they're not one and only diva of the world - there is someone else to take care of. I guess it makes them more grounded and mature.

Like the children who grew up with taking care of animals are much more emphatic than those who didn't have any other souls to take care of.

there are women who are immature from early to late. I hate to say it but SOME women are not equipped to have children.

the honest ones, who tell us they NEVER want to have children cause they know better....are real to themselves, know that they can't handle it.

but I bet being a single mother is tough...having no husband and no other help like grandparents or aunts and uncles to be part of your children's lives.

that is tough. I salute the single mothers who really work hard and really are responsible though.

The ones I know are amazing.....the fathers ran off because they couldn't cope with the pressure of being a parent

However, saying that, they are all over 35, they have had time to grow up some...the thought of having a baby before that can be very challenging, especially as the brain doesn't mature until 25 years

From the moment I heard her tiny heart beat. I also learned who my true friends were because many of the people I had thought were my buddies wanted nothing to do with me when I got pregnant. Her being did all the sifting for me 🙂 my strength fell into place and it was all about her well being from then on.

I read that too, that the human brain doesn't develop until at the very least mid twenties,

that's the average human brain. That's why when children do bad things, even teenagers, in their 16, 17, 18, I get really sad if they commit a crime, and then sent to the big house which prison for adults.

they get raped and tortured. It is crucial that children get good parenting, and to warn them of the dangers of the outside world and how cruel the world can be.
