Do you ever think... assuming someone's personality traits based on their zodiac sign is really no different than assuming based on their race, gender, etc?

I mean, read some of the posts on here, and replace "Scorpio" or "Virgo" with "Mexican" or "African American". Does it still seem appropriate? If not, why is it considered acceptable?

Example, look at these subjects:

Are Virgo girls very touchy?

Calling Other Virgos, Any Experiences With Dating A Taurus?

Do Virgos thrive on drama, discord and conflict?

Now replace "Virgo" with "Mexican":

Are Mexicans girls very touchy?

Calling Other Mexicans, Any Experiences With Dating An African American?

Do Mexicans thrive on drama, discord and conflict?

Or this post from @CaramelizedCoffee:

umm cause he's a virgo, virgos are not innocent, they're a waste of space

replaced the same becomes:

umm cause he's a mexican, mexicans are not innocent, they're a waste of space

Maybe this is just a late-night musing, but I think it's interesting how stereotyping on one level is considered hate speech, but the same stereotyping on another level is perfectly acceptable.

If this can get more stupid - it should be on TV or at least radio...

I'm pretty touchy I'd think.

Dear Virgo, as someone said before, humans were made to pick up patterns, just as (astrologically) Virgos do. Which we do probably even more than the average human.

Is that astrologicalist ¿? Idk. If it were on that term of being compared to being racist, then I guess so. Is astrologicalist even a word? Idk. So many questions, so little time.

But every sign has something that stands out about them compared to other signs. Just like certain people. That's how we can identify people.

...

I agree with you.

wherever I don't forget, I refer to "sign descriptions" and "the one I know".

Astro texts are really dangerous.

- sometimes people don't read the texts entirely and in its relativating approach

- there are web sites even books who come with new texts which can even contain contradictions to the traditional texts.

- people do not take time to absorb that what you see from someone may not be their Sun sign, it could be a Single Ton, it could be AC, it could be the effect of a transit on both sides.

Astrology is something for computers and not for simple people. Unfortunately simple people prefer to stick with it. just for the effect: moan or beef. or keep obsessing over a disapointing heart situation.

Regarding "moan" I think every board should be tolerant and patient.

Its because of HISTORY.

No one rounded up all the Virgo's and put them in concentration camps/slaughtered them by the millions.

No one enslaved all the scorpios for 100's of years.

Are you getting it??
