Which are the top 3 most intriguing rising signs

in what sense?

they should all be intriguing.
Not necessarily all are intriguing. Deriving from Jeanne Avery's publication on Rising Signs I find that Capricorn, Gemini and Scorpio rising are intriguing; the Capricorn read is a tedious prudish read albeit Jeanne delves into the etiology of the Capricorn personality which I find to be very fascinating; Gemini rising chapter is great! it can be a perfect read for solar Geminis also. The Scorpio analysis seemed to me to be a simpler extrpolation far less etiologically interpreted albeit with mysterious connotations connected with Freudian and Jungian style psycho analysis (?) such as the Plutonian personality being related with 'child ego' - conversely the Capricornian - Saturnian personality has the paternalistc bend - a paternalistic association, Mercury the - rational - 'adult ego' state. The Capricorn personality seemed more interpretable the Scorpio personality was the deeply enigmatic one.

Intrigue might relate with 'compelling' or 'fascinating' the 'mysterious' 'differences' - specifically personality differences. The intrigue of diverse personality types within our context - zodiac personality types. so forth.

pisces rising and aqua rising are interesting to me. not sure about my third choice yet, toss up between aries and gemini.
The right spices and side dishes depend on the main course...
Agent I haven't discovered anything charismatic about Aries Rising, I have the book that you recommended. Scorpio and Gemini I noticed were right on top in my opinion, Leo - I have to read up on that chapter, its one of those tedeium ones - the I don't give a fck what you're all about chapters.

i don't base my opinions on just one book. my views are gathered from a variety of sources, and to me, i find aries rising to be quite interesting, albeit in a very simple fashion.

and you didn't ask for what i think is a 'charasmatic' ascendant. the title of the thread asks for what i think is 'intriguing' (aka interesting) 😉

Well what one finds intriguing is pretty subjective, i must agree! All risings are interesting or intriguing in their own way. However, if i was put under a hot hot spotlight for an answer..*hmmm probably Leo and Pisces Rising for sure..*Oh yeah & of course 'Taurus Rising, no doubt..! 😉

"BAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!"

FD what does it say about taraus rising, it seems to be an interresting mix with my Libra sun.
Jeanne Avery's book on rising signs typically read like sun signs Nico is there anything specifically that you wan't to know about? Her book is a good read although Linda Goodman's (Love Signs)compatability book might be a better reading since Linda took into consideration.. well she acknowledges that aspects besides the basic sun sign either enhance and harmonize or negatively detract the interpersonal ambiance within the relationships of the signs. These books are affordable www.amazon.com select 'books.' Avery's book reads like Taurus sun - it will be reminiscent of the people you know who are Taurus suns Goodman's book is the complete juxtapositioning of the signs against each other (including the sexes) and so for example you will find the Libra/Taurus reading very interesting.
In fact my own Venus and Mars in Taurus readings is rather like the basic Taurean sun sign.

Here you go Nico this is from William Lamb's book 'Secrets of Your Rising Sign.'
Libra with Taurus Rising. Can you relate to
"Here's a more centered Likable Libra, with a dignified demeanor, who won't be bothered with nonsense. If there's a way to increase rewards while minimizing effort, these people will find it. Their Taurus personality might be a bit standoffish and "steady-as-she-goes," but once these folks decide they like someone, watch out! Taurus kicks in with material gifts and Libra shows up with concern and cooperation. Diberate, focussed, but make-it-easy Taurus, the Banker, benefits quite nicely from Libra's sociable and attentive ego, but sometimes the bullish side of Taurus can be a problem if it's worn on the sleeve. So Librans born early evening need to be careful they don't overdo the "one-way Wendell" routine that comes so easy for Taurus. "My way or the highway" can create a very lonely road, indeed, and Librans are rarely fond of being alone. If they're perpetually bull-headed, refusing to listen and to consider the other person, they'll undermine the "give and take" that Libra thrives on and sadly end up by themselves, without the partner they prefer."
" The Banker is driven by practility, so these Librans know how to get things done with an easy-does-it approach. They're adept at allocating, whether it's funds or responsibilities, and they take a simple approach that makes things easier for everyone. These qualities make for skilled managers and overseers. If they'll avoid being demanding and intolerant, if they'll just lighten up and be patient with people, they'll discover that "go with the flow" works best. Libra never benefits from a lack of harmony."
" Letting things take their course and allowing people to come around in their own time pays off big for these Librans. They need to temper that raging, snorting, overly intense desire to wan't things their way, especially when the timing isn't right or the object of their desires is inappropriate. When the house is too expensive or the man or woman of their dreams is already married, the key is to back off and let things happen in their own time. This is almost always the wisest course. And they'll know they're handling things correctly when relationships become pleasingly cordial and life gets a whole lot easier. Pretty Venus the night star is the principle of attraction in this galaxy, and she rules both Likeable Libra and materialistic Taurus. So when goals are

Can you relate to this?
lol you poor little squeakie goat.
FD thanks for typing all of that out. I can definately relate to it. I feels, through experience and seems through that description that Taurus is a good rising sign for Libra to have. Creates balance for sure.
Ok mah Fixed Nigga playa pimp, in a few. Y'all got to buy these books lol.

"I feels, through experience and seems through that description that Taurus is a good rising sign for Libra to have. Creates balance for sure."
i feel the same way for my Taurus ascendant. Creates good balance + added strength and tenacity for my piscean sun.

Mystic from my readings on the Taurus sign the Taurus sun seems to be .. rather a strongly aggressive sun this is the impression that I came away with from reading this book, I probably shouldn't be surprized as Taurus can be extremely tenacious.
Merc my brown brother here it is,

Taurus with Cancer Rising.
"Still waters run deep." "These people are usually cautious and contemplative, and not very willing to risk rejection. But Cancer is a world - class thrify nickel and practical Taurus loves a bargain, so Taurus with Cancer rising is very effective at accruing material things. Real estate being one of Cancer's preferred domains, we might find these Taureans exercising diligence in renovating properties or selling houses. In any case, Cancer's cautiously clever industriousness is a fitting compliment to Taurus' determined, do-the-deal mentality. Their mid-morning birth inclines them to lift their head and envision the future. These Taureans will sacrifice today's reward for tomorrow's promise in a hearbeat. And there's too much Cancer sensitivity here to burn many bridges. Rather than self-destruct if their offer is rejected, they'll simply wait patiently until the buyer reconsiders and returns next week. There's a magnetism in this combination. Cautious Cancer's reticence curbs a lot of Taurus' bullishness, making these Taureans very industrious colleagues and competent supervisors, especially if they kep that forward-focus, letting bygones be bygones in the course of life's inevitable misunderstandings." ..

.."thrifty nickel.."
.."Though neither the crab nor the beast of burden is known for networking skills, the mid-morning birth makes for well-connected people who know their way around the community. Cancer is usually family-oriented, so these folks love to provide their own. Their material generosity with loved ones is quite admirable, but they also need to be generous in their judgements and emotional reactions, willing to give counsel with no strings attached. For instance, they're extremely fond of their children but often have very concrete and inflexible ideas about what directions their kids should take in life. Taurus' "my way or the highway" mentality merges with Cancer's clinging possessiveness. There's sometimes a fierce tenacity in this regard. They'll willingly shell out the money for college tuition but will then attempt to control the course of study, disapproving if their children choose the wrong field. And when this happens, they've gotten themselves smack dab in the middle of someone else's space, preventing that person from making her own choices. Of course, this proves to be overly controlling, bad management. If these Taureans will back off just a bit, if they'll give people room to breathe and allow them their right to pursue their own path, they'll find themselves greatly appreciated and endeared to the people they care most about."
Hi there DD! congratulations your getting married to him? Hope everything moves smoothly from there. Seems like your going to have and exciting winter season and wow! all that Fire on your side and Earth on him, pretty hot and pretty dense lol.
'an exciting.."
I never really identified with the stong nuetrality aspects of the libra signs all that much. I am open minded, I can be indecisive at times (though it i usually smaller decisions, bigger decisions and decisions under stress I am rather decisive) and I like to see all sides of a situation before I take one, if I take one. However, I am not afaid to take one and once I do I can be very agressive towards the opposition. I can also be very defensive/offensive, I have no problem calling someone out as an initial reaction. I will however quickly debate weather or not doing so is bennificial in the big picture and I think that is a strong libra influence that kind of pulls the reigns on my Taurus rising.
As far as things I have seen from other people in reaction or description of me, it tends to be more taurus like than libra like. few people challenge me either in arguement or physically (I do have a job that would lead to a lot of physical agression towards me by others). In argument it can be concerning actually as I don't want to put people off too a good debate. In casual settings this tends to not be a problem but in professional and deeply personal settings is where this seems to come through. luckily, my libra girlfriend has a Scorpio rising so she has no problems doing so which I like because I do have the strong Libran sense of objectivity and fairness. If I am wrong, or unfair I want to know, but I need someone to actually present it.

Should be interesting I will check that out for you,... type the whole thing? I dunno if I wan't to that again.
The "neutrality" thing, I think that is basically a natural veneer as there will be more complex intellectual dynamics at work ofcourse.
The author my little sweetie is William Lamb and the book sub title (there is a main title) The Secrets of Your Rising Sign, good book not bad at all, the author does hinge on certain sterotypical associations/notions/catch phrases as they apply to the signs which can true but is also irritating but oterwise I think you people would be curious enough to pick this one and and enjoy it engagingly. Sun/rising condensed to about a page or so per combination.
