I read this book in elementary school and Mrs. Watson reminded me of my mother. In the book Mrs. Watson bundled up her kids in lots of winter clothes because she’s afraid the cold weather will make them sick. She makes them wear several shirts, sweaters, jackets, coats, snow pants, and boots when they go outside. Just like her, my mother bundles me up so much that I can barely even move to go outside. Just like the “Weird Watsons”, when I get to school it’s always an ordeal to remove all of my heavy winter coats and other winter, not to mention having to put it back on after school. I remembered the book this morning while getting ready for school, because my mom told that I’m better off wearing more layers than needed rather than not enough.
