i think books find you - when it's time.

Ugh....at about the same time i read "Us kids from the Zoo train station" from that German junkie. I think it was a bit too early for an intelligent but impressionable and eager to try anything new pisces moon. 😄

try romance of the three kingdoms.

it has nothing to do with romantic, and good if you like war stories with political intriques

Anything with humour in it......laughing your socks off when reading a book is so healing

😄

p.g. wodehouse (wooster & jeeves series) comes to mind. for laugh out loud.

I will bear them in mind Nem

Of late, i always keep a book in my bag and when i go out for lunch or coffee, i will read it....i am sure one of these days the men in white coats will come for me because at times i become so engrossed i laugh out loud, forgetting where i am 😛

A couple of years ago when i was going through a difficult time, i read a lot of this author's books, written from the perspective of a teenage girl.....very funny

At times i used to forget how miserable i was feeling and completely lose myself in the humour

🙂

Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet

Phantom: The Novel of His Life by Susan Kay

The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger

They have nothing to do with break ups, but they definitely are a wonderful distraction.
