I’ve been talking to a cancer man for about 3/4 months. Yesterday he told me he felt I was too good for him. I asked what you don’t want to talk to me anymore he was like no that’s not the case I like you. My question is what’s the point of saying it ?? Lately he hasn’t been texting as much for about 4 Days now. When I call he answers every time. I’m not sure if I should continue or not ...
“You’re too good for me”

My cancer does that too. I think they need constant validation and reassurance that you're not going to leave them.
With the texting, don't read into it. As long as he's still maintaining phone calls everyday, that's good. I don't think Cancer men understand text etiquette. Or communication... They notice if you don't send them a text, but they don't reply to it anyway. So just pretend his phone can't send sms lol. Don't be annoying about it though, he'll call you instead

I'd take him at his word and walk.
Not as in "Gee I actually am too good for this loser" but my experience with that line is:
a) It's translation for "We won't make it in a long run so this sounds like a nice way to back off now"
b) I am plagued with insecurity and it will be your job henceforth to alleviate that for me.
You won't make it with a Cancer if you don't commit to b) and if you have fire/air in your chart...ehhhh.
