Cancer friends, what do you do when someone lies to you?
I take mental notes and catalog it. I don't like being lied to, and I don't like lying to others (also I suck at lying). If the lying is coming from a partner about something important, like finances or cheating, that will piss me off and I'll confront the person. If the lying continues the relationship will end. If I catch someone in lots of stupid little lies I'll make note that they're not fully trustworthy.
Personally, I feel there are a few reasons that are acceptable reasons for lying, and they all hinge around protection, either for someone else or self, especially if it's not someone's business and you're dealing with an unstable person or a nosy one. Overall I prefer honesty. It keeps life uncomplicated.

If it was a close friend, she will be on verge of tears and will be very disturbed...talk about how much it hurts.. It gets heavy lol..

She will question their feelings, opinions.. Very intense. But sometimes she will laugh it off too..depends on what the lie is about and the liar in question.

Hm well I let it slide too much and I'm not confrontational or so direct. I actually ponder and think we I should do, do I wait it out or detach right away. I do both.
