Confused about my cancer crush

He is kinda changing like smiling and stuff he does that all the time and we don't say hi to each other but today he said hey and when he was about leave he said bye and was to shake me but i mistakenly walked off coz I didn't expect it, then I texted him this night no response ??‍♀️ Am so confused helppp

Hey guys there is this cancer guy I have a crush on it been a while now like 1yr, he works for my dad and we see each other everyday, been trying to get close to him like be his friend but I feel like he doesn't want to. he is like in and out so I left him for a while till this month I found out he is single though he has a child and he still talk to his baby mama but nothing is going on between them, cut the long story short I asked for his social media stuff from his cousin that works at my dads company too, and I found out it was birthday then I asked him and he was surprised, I texted him and he said I was stalking him jokingly coz but I denied, tried texting him again yesterday but he said lol chill and today I did again and I got no response. I made the first move coz he is cancer and he's shy and I heard that you can't tell a cancer guy you like him directly

I'm so confused I need helppp I need to know if he likes me or not

And who the hell asks someone else, other than the person themselves for someone else's social media.
