Confused by cancer male

Hi all,

I met a cancer male on a dating site. He seems pretty honest and has never given me reason to not trust him. We've been messaging each other all day for quite some time now. I noticed he was busy last weekend so I didn't want to pester him and we still talked and all was well. It's only been a few days but I haven't heard from him and so I didn't want to feel like I was bugging him either and haven't messaged him again to ask what's going on with the lack of messages all of a sudden. I'm thinking I should just count this one as a ghost and move on. From what I read on male crabs, they can pull away for all sorts of reasons. I just don't understand if that's what happened than what caused it. Like I said, nothing negative has been said between us. If anything he was getting more emotional with me and I responded equally to him but nothing too heavy. Any input on the male crab would be nice. I don't want to count him out since it's only been a few days if he just seems to be someone needing time to himself.

Have y'all ever met face to face? A lot of online 'relationships' with cancer's go downhill due to the fact of no physical emotions and affection which what they crave. That's from my experience as a female cancer. Or maybe on the plus he's dead or is just on playing the old catch me if you 'can' card meaning 'hey, if you want me like you said you do prove it' this is where you prove him how much you want him!

No we haven't met face to face yet. It's a bit complicated as we agreed not to label anything and it was just dating for now. He seems to be emotional in his replies. I just don't want to chase him and have him think I'm nuts if he's not replying. Was figuring I'd just let it play out. He does know my number after all. Just not sure how cancer men act in situations. My ex husband was a cancer and I never had issues like this. Neither did I with my ex fiancé who was also a cancer. For a guy who was very straight forward with me from the beginning, he sure seemed to back off fast also if that's what he's doing.

Well cancer's aren't direct as we seem. He was probably establishing a connection to get on the same page and now it's up to you to keep the ball rolling. Cancer's like being chased, idc what anybody thinks or says pursue a cancer and they will throw everything at you, mood swings,distance, money, sweetness, he wants you to come to him first and he wants you to text him. Now cancer's are different based on their placement so just keep in mind you need to find out his mercury to figure out what's going on in that cute little head of his!

Yeah I decided to go out on a limb and shoot him a message. We'll see what happens. Thanks for the advice. Never knew some cancers like being chased. I always knew they can hide in their shells but that was it.

I think you also need to look at this Venus and Mars. Cancers can retreat, and it's not always because of you. It could be work or family or any other thing going on his life. We do like our space and quiet moments.

I have a Venus in Gemini, and I do like being chased, which is why I think Venus always plays an important role in Cancers. What is your sign and placements?

Taurus but not sure about placement. May 8th though. Noticed I tend to have most Taurus traits with a few others that aren't very Taurus like.
