As a cancer do you ever feel like you're attracted to broken people? People with so much damage you just want to help them and fix them?

I think cancers can feel inclined too... when they really shouldn't because they end up screwing things up or just overdoing it and then they end up in tears themselves like no
I used to. I called it "stray puppy rescue syndrome ". I can't help those who can't help themselves.
I don't think cancers are attracted to broken people, it's actually the other way around. Broken people are attracted to cancers.
I will help people and used to have a problem with severing the umbilical cord, so to speak. But at some point you learn that you have to, just for pure survival.
