Is it normal?

Hey cancers,

Just wanted insight on what I’m currently feeling which is nothing. Have you felt so much that you one day started to feel nothing for someone?

Because this is how I am feeling. I once felt so connected, but after all of the effort I put in I started to pull back. I haven’t spoken to this someone since Saturday, and he messaged me today but I haven’t even bothered to open it. It’s like I don’t care. I don’t care to look at his IG stories, or to unfollow him, to open then message. In fact I’m tempted to just delete it just so the notification will go away. I feel a little more apathetic and I haven’t felt this way towards him, idk where all of a sudden it came from. Maybe the distance i created between us but I just don’t feel the same. I think it was all of the effort I made and trying to sacrifice what I wanted (which was a relationship) to fit his wants of just having no wants to attachment to anything or anyone. My pull back helped me to see that I was clearly the man, I gave compliments, showed him that I did care even if nothing came of it. But now it’s nothing........ it’s like those feelings are somewhat gone and I’m able to breathe again. I feel like I’m actually finally able to release someone I never had to begin with. It actually feels weird but, nice in a sense.

Believe me it's a momentary thing you guys do not get over things easily specially not if you're hung up about the past. It's just a typical cancer thing to get attention my mom used to do that when angry or upset with me or her boyfriends it's just mindfcking nothing else. No offense but you cancer live so much in your feelings that when you think you don't feel anything all you do is temporarily withdraw from someone until they have learned their lesson.

My mom has never been able to let go of things even if she said she would be over someone she would still act jealous and bitter she still says bad things to me about my dad etc.

Do not lie to yourself because it will backlash you the moment he moves on ofcourse now when you receive messages you know he is on to you but the moment that stops all the panic start.

I've had many cancer who talked like that until sht got real cancer is a sign that realizes later because they are emotionally too stubborn and have a lot of self pity no offense but i personally feel like within 2 weeks you'll turn around not even 2 weeks. a cancer feels deep you can not just turn off your feelings if needed that's lying to yourself i'm a sagittarius moon we do turn on and off out emotions because a sagittarius moon doesn't like to dwell on things for too long and cancer is the complete opposite. Like it or not i'm gonna tell you now you will change your mind you cancer are too damn soft and not necessarily too good just too easy too fool not to hurt your feelings i am just straightforward. i don't know what sign your man/boyfriend is

It’s honestly how I feel atm. I don’t know if it will change towards him. I don’t hold grudges so we may rekindle on a friendship basis. The think is my moon is in Aries, so although I’m ruled by the moon which makes me emotional, I have an Aries moon which makes it easier for me to detach from people. Some people I never thought I’d actually do this with but it happens. He is a Capricorn sun and sag moon. It’s not a bad pairing but the reason for the feelings is that I just cared too much. Almost to the point of why would I care so much for someone when it’s not reciprocated. Yeah, it’s out of character for me not open the message and to want to just delete it but i can’t explain how I feel. I just feel a sort of detachment and maybe it’s because of how he made me feel. Mind you maybe i won’t feel this way a week from now or a month from now but in this moment, today I gained a sense of clarity of the situation and yeah it is true that once a cancer is done they are done for good. I’ve cut people off and never looked back and these are people I truly cared for that weren’t good for me. Appreciate your direct approach though!

as a cancer moon and ascendent, i now understand its natrual or easy for us to JUST LET GO, not give a treetrunk, when people do us dirty or wrong in anyway, we find it hard to forgive? our revenge is to cut em off and let them burn in the memory or the loss of us...scary

oh my god yes. this is what happened to me and my long term ex. feels good after though hehe
