My crush rubbed his neck/shoulder, and told me how tense it felt. He felt it was cause he was tired. I applied some pressure on the area to help sooth it when he said, "oo we don't want to start anything now". I said what do you mean? He said "We don't want to spread rumours". I stopped when he said that.

I have no idea how my crush feels about me, but I feel deflated, because what he said felt like rejection...

I'm wondering if it was his polite way of saying get the hell off me?

I think you are over thinking things and we can't tell how he feels about you from one small interaction between u guys. He could be flirting, depending on the tone and his body language. Just believe in yourself and he will feel the magic girl
