Last time I saw my cancer friend was a year ago.

I saw him this Sunday.

He told me to text him.

He told me he was moving to ATL.

I'm like what? (We live in California)

So I texted him

He didn't communicate well at all.

Last thing I asked was when are you leaving?

He texted me until today I already left.

What was the purpose of that cancer?

To let you know he was moving. Friends are friends.

That's the thing tho.

I have a year not speaking to him.

Why bother is my question.

Probably just small talk because he didn't want to look like an asshole who ignored you instead. Same shit I do when I see someone I am merely an acquaintances with.

Someone who I haven't talked to in a year, isn't a friend.

He could be smarter and say he is moving to Mongolia and they don’t let foreigners to use phones because they afraid that their horse riding techniques will be stolen...or something...🤷‍♀️

I'm marrying of these satanic Cancer men.

My little brother by choice, currently lives with my fiance and I, is another spawn of satan.

And my "man of honor" in my wedding is another demon spawn.

I'd say having 3/5 of the most important men in my life being part of the horde that inspires the "He left me" threads, gives me some sort of experience with them. Or I'm a sadomasochistic idiot. It really might be the latter of the two since I willingly torture myself.

But they do this polite shit all the time.
