You said a couple you know of" thats just 1 case. And Leo's are stright foward blunt individuals so are Cancers. Even tho Leo is closer to Virgo my take came from scarcity of Cancers and limited contact i have has in Some way been positive.
Virgos and Sagittarians are my kryptonite. Though my crushes mostly turn out to be Sagittarians (or Aries). Virgos, on the other hand tend to find me. AndI've fallen the deepest for Virgos.

I'm cancer sun with venus and mercury in leo. I have never been attracted to virgos, even for friendship. I just don't think I can understand virgos. They are too perfect, clean and tidy. In their minds of course. I found that to be boring. One of my closest friends is virgo but it took me a while to fully open up and accept her as a great friend. She was quicker than me seeing the connection. Romantically I never felt attracted to a virgo.
