What the hell is the wife suppose to be in this case? A facade?
Just sexual desires or any desire?
If so desires, since otherwise my desire of not having my organs harvested and sold, along with any kids, for start up money for her business, won't be fulfilled.
Now if just sex vs loyalty, loyalty. However I take the fridgity towards sex as a rejection of me, no concern for my needs AND implies I'm just an ATM/Work Horse to her.

Are you trying to validate being a side piece?
I'd say the more value goes to the person who's been with you through thick and thin, the person you have a history with, the person you share children with, the person you made a commitment to, the person you will grow old with, the person who knows you inside and out and loves you anyway.
Sex is just sex. I don't approve, but men who cheat have side pieces come and go, they exchange them for something younger, when the thrill is gone they find another thrill, when the side piece places too many demands they find one that doesn't... but the wife, she's there and she's the one who gets him on the holidays, she gets the benefits, she gets the title, she gets to go out publically with him, she has more power than the side piece plus she gets half his assets when she finds out about his indescretions.

I think it's perfectly fair for the "other woman/man" to get all the negative labels.
