I don't know a great number of caps but I was thinking that maybe the men are more emotionally expressive/comfortable than the women.
I think this may be a societal issue. Caps seem to want to be seen as responsible and not overly emotional. So a woman (because women are usually seen as being motional) has to work twice as hard at covering her feelings. If she lets them out once people will often say "oh typical woman". A cap man letting his felings out now and then isn't such a big deal however because people will just see it as "oh of course everyone is emotional sometimes" and let it go.
In my experience the women seem to be more emotionally closed off (less likely to show public/any emotion) whereas the men, while not attention seeking or dramatic, seem more laid back about their feelings.
or am I just crazy? Is it just the cappies I've met?
