Are Capricorn unforgettable and vindictive

I am a cappie and never give a trouble to others. I am always there for friends and family. However, if I was deeply hurt, I could not forget and forgive even for a long period. I would like to know other Caps are the same? Do you guys just move on and forget?

I don't forget either if people hurt me bad enough, and sometimes I don't care enough to forgive...you're just out of my life, period. I just don't think about them anymore, but.if they pop up, I just remember what they did and I get them off my mind.

So ya, I don't forget either.

Vindictive?... I can be, yes, but they'd have to be some real POS for me to plan a strategy on ruining their life.
If I'm gonna go there, there has to be a benefit for me.

Nope. I can hold a grudge for a long, long time. I may eventually be civil and polite to the person, but I'll most likely never be close to them again.

Yeah, I dont forget or forgive....just move on.

If a person gives an apology that I feel is genuine, and give me all the details and a rundown of why they did whatever, then I can forgive. Most people dont care to do that though. Theyll just apologize and feel there is no need for me to understand what motivated their actions, so I dont really forgive in those situations. Ill accept the apology though, but Ill most likely still move on.

I wish I would spend time trying to be vindictive. Thats completely a waste imo.

I was quite vindictive, and a serious grudge holder, as a younger man, but now, Meh --- whatever.

I write people off quite easily if they cross me in a manner I'm not fond of.

I can be extremely vindictive. I think it's my worst flaw. I go out of my way to be kind to others so when someone blatantly Hurts or picks with me I plot the worst possible revenge. i got into an argument with a woman at the mall and I waited outside by her car for an hour . I thought of a million things to do to her and her car, but logic finally settled in and I remembered what I had to lose. Most times I just walk away from whatever bothers me and I can forgive my loved ones almost instantly, but I will always log what they have done until it builds up and boom...out comes the crazy.

My mum...1/14 Capricorn, holds grudges forever-literally. Still love her though.

my cap grandma remembered things from long ago, and sometimes dont let go of it if she recalls it.

my cap mother in law is quite forgetful about many many things. Like her memories are wiped off sometimes the next day. She is very forgiving though, despite having an aquarius venus conjunct her Jupiter aquarius (being fixed) but then she has a virgo mars and pisces moon.

she sometimes is so open and loving and caring about other people's suffering and downfalls too.

she actually has alot of good traits about her. My husband loves his mother very very much.

oh and i love my grandma very very much too (both of them) even though they passed on.

My ex had a child with a Cap woman and she was nasty and vile to him. I never understood how he stayed so long when he was treated so poorly but they had a child and he was taking the abuse because he didn't want to break up the family. She ended up throwing him out because he wanted to go to his mother's. She forbade him to anywhere without her permission and for once, he defied her and she didn't like that. Fast forward 6 years and she is still popping up from time to time and causing chaos. She uses their child to blackmail him. I broke up with him because her games were consuming his life. He still lives in fear of her threats.
I have also had a bad experience with a Cap. My ex husband was wonderful until I got pregnant. From that point on, I became his property. He physically and emotionally brutalized me for years. It took a lot to leave because I lived in fear of what he would do. He was very difficult to break up with and I was sure that he would murder me for even trying. He still lurks around, trying to intimidate me.
Both my children are Caps so I really hope that the nastiness has more to do with other placements. I would hate for them to be so cold.

because i know personally of a capricorn sun woman who is very very epitome of "meek" and really doormatty if one looks at it from an outside view.

because if you get to know her she's so very kind, sweet, and i can see why she may be very doormatty. she is one of the in laws from an in law let's just say. She married a Leo sun. (i found out their birthdays) and i didnt do their charts but i'll ask my relative what her in law's exact bday and time is...
and her husband has a mistress for many decades and it's very very known. Of course this is shameful in the family. (this is an asian, middle-eastern culture ok?)

so, people who know about this, Always wonder why she is so doormatty and allows this to happen to her? Her husband, is a very jolly, good father, kind person and people feel at ease with him. He is also a very good father. However, not so good a husband obviously. Maybe he was trying to PLEASE everyone, like the mistress and wife?

Well, if you meet this cap woman you will see how sweet and passive she is.
this is a very true story and found out their bdays. I was shocked of course!!!

dont be fooled by just having cap in the sun there is saying, "hey this is not gonna happen to me!!'

it happens to everyone in every sun sign i bet. it's just that we aren't exposed to it so much. I got exposed to it due to having lots of family members marrying into families who have gone through hell and back too.

i even married into a family (my ex) that his wife can't even stop letting go of her ex husband who he remarried 3x already. She still rants and raves about him negatively 20 years later, even after she married a good man who gave her a house and car. It's not enough. The ex who left was still someone she can't stop talking about.

but the new husband takes it in stride, or rather doesn't mind her rantings on the ex husband many years later.

i notice if one of the close family members say out loud, and stomp their foot, "Stop doing that!! it's annoyng. you should focus only on me! he's gone from your life."

they will think and reflect and try to stop what they're doing. I have noticed this and witnessed this happening in my own family where some of us have told that kind of thing, "Stop doing that!"

they did reflect and stop, well it still happens but it's less and less,

theres only so much you can do you know?

oh to clarify my ex's mother!! who can't let go. Not his new wife or anything. i meant my former mother in law.

My dad(capricorn) says life is too short to hold on to hurt feelings.

But it is the "hurt" that motivated him more, added fuel to his fire to succeed when he was young.

I think Capricorns dont care about anyone, and easily forgive others because they don't really care. They've got real things to bother about.

With blood relations or family though, they overlook the hurt, bond is bigger for them. Because family is real for them.

There's always reasons for the nastiness. Capricorns are kind-hearted unless we have a reason not to be. Oh, we come across hard, but we are marshmellows inside. Oh, I wasn't referring to your ex husband with that. He probably became one of the more controlling caps.
Wasn't trying to imply that you did anything to deserve that. Unless you did and he didn't trust you?

But your ex'es, ex? Yeah, there's a reason for it. He either hurt her really bad, did a lot of stupid stuff or was a doormat and didn't stand up to her and she had no respect for him. There's much, much more to that story. May even be more than you were told.

I never ever ever forget(good or bad.) I may forgive, depending on what it was.

Half of my family are Capricorns. Including my amazing hard working grandpa. They are not vindictive. I have 3 placements in Cap and am on the cusp of the sign too. I don't forget ever.. but my dominant planets are Aquarius, Capricorn and Scorpio. Maybe it is the Scorp energy.
