What are you thoughts on feminism CAPRICORN MEN?


I am a feminist. And a leo. My loving Cap, I've noticed has an aversion to feminism (not towards me) as I've observed it in his reactions to others statements. I raised the issue last night and he was pretty quiet. Seemed disengaged. But then today he went by himself and started looking into the root of feminism which was what I suggested, not to be detoured by the extremists. Upon his research he texted me, "Well it looks like I'm a feminist based on my beliefs."

obv by DEFINITION most people are 'feminists' I don't think even most MRA's walk around wishing women had less rights, but text book definition and the actual reality are two separate things.

Modern feminism is a joke tauted by angry man haters, and young women without a fucking clue who just want something to stand up for.

Lets talk about how feminism is a joke. I'm a feminist. I've secured a non profit and have been holding skate clinics for inner city girls. I want to eventually open it up into a program that can also focus and specialize in working with autistic children in both music and skate. I'm also working on the digital marketing and outreach aspect for another local non profit that is working with low income children and teaching them how to breakdance. It also double functions as an art space for local artist that need a low budget space to pursue their dreams. What are you doing for humankind?

That's because the average person is utterly ignorant in regard to this.

Media and bad examples have ruined the idea of what feminism ACTUALLY is. Then you get the tard crowd that starts touting "humanism" and it's just stupid and technical and shows that people aren't as evolved as the think they are because *gasp* feminism has the "fem" bit to it, so omg oh so bad. If people were truly for equal rights amongst everyone, they wouldn't freak out at the idea of feminism and claim other "leanings" on the topic (i.e. "humanist.")

Thanks to the lovely media, the actual idea of feminism has been clouded by bra burning, angry lesbian stigma/stereotypes. It's incredibly sad when I hear FEMALES immediately claim "I'M NOT A FEMINIST!" in fear of sounding like some crazy hoe. It's like dear, you mean to tell me that you don't view your own gender as one that deserves equal rights as guys? That you should be viewed "lesser" than a guy? Fucking pathetic brainwashing right there. :/

As should you.

You are aware that there's varying forms of feminism that also include minorities who have one more lovely facet to face on top of their gender in our society, right? That's also an issue that's being built upon in actual feminism.

Also, your examples in your other posts are less feminism and more PC, social justice assholes to cling on to the word "feminism" (something done by rich white men up in NorCal) as an excuse to further push their rich, clueless, white guy agenda on everyone. It's no coincidence that social justice is trying to sully the concept of feminism. It just means more excuses for rich white guys to keep doing their thing in regard to these issues. What better way than to ruin an idea that gives women some sort of equality or power for their gender? *gasp*

The fact you think this is what feminism actually is is laughable. Before you go tell people to read a book, I suggest you learn quite a bit more about what's really going on with this stuff. Don't even get me started on your "I'm a humanist" comment, seeing as how it's equally guilty if ignoring the fact that being a female is still an "underprivileged" position in society around the world. Humanism doesn't even address that. The idea of Humanism is fine and nice, but it completely glosses over this clear issue worldwide.

Damn CancerLeo'dynamite' I feel embarrassed to share a sign with you. Lacking logic and spreading hate. Your responses seethe judgement and lack of logical approach, desire for good, or understanding. Unfortunately due to this, it would be a waste of time to discuss anything with you at any future point. I'm not into wasting my time and defending myself against someone so ignorant will never to anything either. That being said, I haven't seen you state how you are doing anything for human kind, but if a humanist (you) is someone that comes on threads online to spread hatred and cut someone down by telling them to 'read a book' lol...I think I heard that line last in middle school, then I wouldn't want to be one due to such a poor example.

I find this woman to be highly intelligent and reasonable, however, unfortunately some of her historical recollections are inconceivably inaccurate and not backed by ANY fact other than opinion. It is no secret that woman were kept from the right to vote and there is not equal pay. To be honest, I have not experienced those in my lifetime. I am lobbying for women to feel comfortable in male dominated fields and to change the tone of sexual exploitation in music. Not all feminist ideas are 100 percent kosher with me either. But overall, the fundamentals of it are. Thanks for posting this however, she does raise some interesting points and in a level way gives insight into the mind of someone who feels different than I.

Modern feminism is a joke. Maybe older stuff in throughout the 1880's all the way up to the 1960's made sense and I would support. But afterwards into 90's till now. No, I would not touch those retarded, fascist, stink dogs, unhygenic pieces trash that call themselves feminist these days. They've twisted their own message to support superiority rather than equality so therefor I won't support snakes. But I keep a snake as a pet and rub it and feed it mice and let it coil around my back.

It's nice to see guys standing up and speaking out as well, amongst this sea of entitled, self absorbed assholes that scream the loudest. They're not the majority, but the numbers are still depressing considering it's 2016 and we're taking this gross backslide on these issues because of male entitlement.

I think what a lot of people have an issue with is Western/white feminism. Do people know that intersectional feminism exists? Or that there's subgroups for latinas and blacks in the US?

Not to mention, feminists have been tagged as 'man-haters' for about 200 years, now, according to another article I read. The more you hear something, the more you think it's true. But, that's not what feminism is. Sure, there might be a small portion of feminists that hate men, but feminism is not ABOUT hating men. If they try to bring their hate in to feminism, that doesn't work. It doesn't work because feminism isn't about punishing men or bringing them down. It's not about hating them. Any actual feminist (or perhaps anyone not following white feminist) would agree that males have issues that need to be addressed and fixed, as well. And just like some MRAs hate women, I'm sure the majority does not.
