Capricorn: Egoiostic?
My question is : Why? Why do you guys think they are the most egoistic people ever? I know they are rock cold but ego is something else, which I am not able to channelize.
I feel we are too. It doesn't bother me either, well, not until I have to deal with other Caps and the egos clash.
I don't know. I think it's something many are born with, and have to either fight to keep it hidden, or struggle to get rid of it....when sometimes I think we should just embrace it.

I recently bashed my cap friend by saying, "you are the most egoistic person ever"
I have my reasons ready but it hurt him to know that someone said it on his face and since then is asking me to give him reasons "WHY" lol

If I told my Cap friend about his ego he'd be hurt too just because he thinks he comes across differently. He makes comments like "I don't have an ego at all" and "I'm one of the most humble people ever" lol, so when I say "yes you do, and no you are not" he wants to know why. It's always hard for me to explain to him too, I guess because it's hidden so well, or not visible in ways where you can pinpoint how it works, you just know he's driven by his ego, and don't let me have an opinion...it's either complete dismissal of my point or debate. Our egos clash a whole lot.
I have a Cap girlfriend who is beautiful (and she knows it) and she comes off VERY egotistical, but before I could ever gently mention this to her, she brought it up herself saying "I know I come off bitchy or stand-off-ish and snobby but I'm just very to myself and it takes awhile for me to open up." I believe her, that definitely seems to be the case, although it's still obvious she knows she's hot, I just giggle and let her be.
He is totally egoistic. You do one thing or say anything against what he want to happen, and you would see him start ignoring, as if it hurt his pride. l
He thinks he is way too classy but his choice sucks, and he takes pride in that matter too. Egoistic that I own a luxury car and I have my own property in foreign land and I have 6 figure salary. I mean why?
If we are talking, he can say it smoothly that I have to sleep its late, ttyl or something. All he do is, don't reply and still be wasting time here or there online. And he always reply me back according to his convenience. If he needs me, he would be frequent in talking and establish a conversation but if I need him, he would only show how busy he is and would reply back minimal. If he is ignoring, then it is ok but boy you try to ignore him, he would start shouting. *weirdo*

Posted by TrueTaur57It's a false front. I think it comes from us being so guarded and making sure no one takes advantage of us. Deep down we know we are softies, so it's a way to protect ourselves. We are also a lot less confident than we appear, so it's a way of compensating for that.
I have a regular normal question: Why do I feel that Capricorn people are the most egoistic people ever? Or it just appears that they are egoistic but inside they are a sweetener?
If you guys are really very very sweet, then why do you like to appear as if you are the most egoistic people ever?

Because we think we know best and want to help everyone. I Dont always vibe with my own sign because the egos clash. Some cappies when they are in a group it has to be "The Me Show". and I Dont always vibe with that.
I can be egoistic and I try to be conscious of it and listen to other ppls opinions and see things from other viewpoints.

They say caps and tauruses are a great match but every cap I meet is cold and make me run for the hills no matter how nice I am... I think that ego thing turns me off... Just chill and allow someone to know you without pushing them away with too much cautiousness.

He kinda knows that I am interested into him, hence his ego has reached the highest level to make me chase him. But I am not chasing him so he shows even more ego. If I am texting him, instead of establishing a conversation he texts back within weeks and it makes me even more furious that why is he throwing so much attitude towards me.

I have had several Capricorns in my life. Some of them are friends and family. I can get along fine with the girls, but I stay away from the guys. I must say all Capricorns exhibit annoying behaviours sometimes.
All the Capricorns i know are extremely ambitious with a narcissistic mind set. They always move about believing that the world is conspiring against them. That everyone is trying to pull them down and that they must fight in order to get ahead. The problem is they are extremely emotional, but don't want people to know since that may make them appear weak.
Capricorns want to feel in control most of the time and this is what makes them appear egotistical. And they probably are too.

A guy I know is insanely egotistical. To the point if you aren't of use to him he won't see you worth keeping around. He can't figure out why he can't get a lady...I tried talking to him and he basically told me nothing I said mattered. Eh, fuck 'em.

He just told me he didn't want my advice since it didn't work....I can guarantee it was his drooling and having NO experience talking to ladies that did it. He refused to even go up to strangers and ask for directions. The dude is flawed in that why.
He started chasing me. I started feeling interested so we used to talk a lot !! Day and night, between work and sleep or during walking towards home or even while catching the flight. We were trying to get the most out of 24 hours but once I said hey seems like I like you, boy he now only knows to ignore. 😐 now it feels like I am chasing him lol which I am not doing.
