How Capricorn Moons Handle Deep Emotional Hurt
Capricorn Moons often respond to deep emotional pain by withdrawing and creating boundaries. They tend to freeze out or distance themselves to protect their feelings and regain control. This response helps them process their emotions privately before deciding how to rebuild trust or reconnect later.
I do the same thing as you but as a Pisces I can't help but forgive anyway. Love overwhelms sometimes.
That causes conflict for myself as you would probably understand.
I broke up with my girl because I kept on switching between distrust and giving second chances. It was stressing for both of us, I should have ended it just at the time she told me she cheated on me.
I have to admit that I do the same thing, when I get hurt I get ice cold inside and that makes me even more sad... I don't forget about my love for this person but I cant help but feeling ice cold inside my heart.

Yeah I can understand that switching between distrust and second chances. Once we love someone we love them deeply and it isn't easy to let go

Yes Its killing me inside but I won't say a word to him. I do cry but behind close doors and I've a good poker face so even the ones that are living with me are unaware of the storm inside me

SpiceNSugar it depends on many things such as the intensity of situation, our love for the other person, Effort on behalf of the other person to get us back, their regret etc. If we really feel that you're not going to repeat the same thing in future then we may eventually forgive you but it will take time depending on a situation.
So maybe I'll forgive but I'll never forget. I believe a quote that says "Trust is like a paper once its crumpled it can't be perfect again"
I forgive way too quick. Mars in sag lol. But sadly I never forget and it takes double the effort to gain back my trust. Crack in that motherfucking mirror.

I ignore, then forgive. It doesn't take long for me. My problem is that I give people too many chances for them to hurt me. So by the time they've done their last to me, I do ice out completely. Forgiven, but out of my life for good.
Yeah, it takes a LOT to upset us. Maybe that's why when we ice out, it's because there are no more redeeming qualities left in the relationship to hold on to. My SO has done his worst to me (most wouldn't accept it), but it's in the past and he's actually a good hearted man, so I have forgiven and it's all good.
Only one, my sister. Haven't seen her in 15 years, and I don't miss her one bit. Everyone else in my family gets a free pass.

i think its a good thing to vanish or ignore them without a word. this kind of people, will put a knife on your heart and next day they will come like a little flower, "hey whats up 🙂" or "it doesnt matters", naaaahhhh lol ?! just die !
i will argue my child, if they make mistake, because i will love them, and i want them to be better.
but someone who choose to hurt me, cause you had the choice to hurt me or not,i will said nothing cause i want this person to hurt other person and then die slowly because nobody want to be with a traitors !I agree very much with what you are saying. Mentally and emotional vanish and ignore I feel is a justified reaction to hurt. But I have been judged that it is a wrong way to show and people want you to tell them why and what the hurt was. I feel like it cost me energy and wasted time to explain and deal this way also isn't ignoring a very clear sign? So I rather not waste words.
It leads me to another question if any other capricorn moon here have experience With being judged how you deal with emotions and if or when you are willing to compromise.

Well yeah I do disappear silently without complaining but that is mostly when the other person isn't that close to me to express such deep emotions. But when it comes to my life partner I am very verbal about it because I know he won't let me to disappeare like that lol

In my experience my so can not upset me he is one of the few. Unless he does something very retarded ofcourse.

Yes, he is very understanding and patient with me. It is one of the reasons why I love him so much. He knows I put lot of efforts to keep a happy home.Where do you draw the line? Can you be more specific?

I draw lines at the very outset and I am very verbal about it. Even if I am not verbal I give hints as to what is acceptable and what's not. To be more specific loyalty and faithfulness is on the top of the list that matters the most to me.

I agree with you Ana for being selective to show deep emotions it is almost like the not close people are not worth to show your emotions at least I feel like that. Do you also solve it right then talk it out and the issue never comes up again? I mean with life partner.

Yes when I talk to him about what is upsetting me its like the matter is solved as soon as I expressed my feelings and it never comes up again unless he did the same thing again

Hey dear lunar Cappies hope y'all doing good. So What do you do when you get hurt by someone very deeply. Recently something similar happened in my life I got hurt very deeply my trust has been broken a bit and I (being a lunar cappy) found myself freezing him out completely. I have cut all the ways in which he can contact me. Blocking him completely on cell and fb etc., its not like I am completely throwing him out of my life, but right now I cannot trust his words I cannot trust him no matter whatever he do to get my trust back (Not now at least) maybe I can trust him again later but that's another story. But for now I don't plan to talk to him anywhere in the near future. I briefly expressed my emotion/feelings but after that Its a complete freeze out and will continue to be. So what do you do when you get hurt ??
I keep to myself. I forgive people for most things, but what really hurts is when the person deliberately tries to hurt me in the moment just because they feel a certain way. I also dislike projection, but what cuts is when someone that's close to you justifies it. In that sense, my emotional trust for how you will treat me is lost and I am very cautious. Like you mentioned, I tend to keep my distance. If it's an extreme situation, I'll deny you ever existed. There is no point in showing that you care.

To regain trust, I think for me personally it's not about the other person working twice as hard to regain it ..to me intent is more important, and a genuine, good one takes more effort imho.
So, if I've been "freezed out" by a Cap Moon all of a sudden, I've probably said or done something to hurt them?
We had a small disagreement, but talked normally for two days afterwards - then all of a sudden it's like I don't exist.
What can I do in this position? (I'm a Scorpio Moon, can't really leave matters like this alone, lol)
Hmm, well, I've given this person space for about two weeks, but thinking of sending a pretty straight forward message saying I'd like to know if I did something to offend him, and also just let him know it's hurting me to be ignored like this. I'd rather know what it's about, at least. To me, it was a pretty minor disagreement and we've never had one before..
Is it pretty much one mistake and you're out? :/
(the bigger picture is that he said something that I took offense by and I told him so.. that was basically the disagreement and he apologized for it..)

Basically we just tried to find a day to meet up, I left it pretty open and said; "just tell me when you have a free weekend and we'll decide something then". He just responded "I'm busy until 2016" and I felt a bit.. you know.. pushed aside, since we live far, far apart and it's hard enough as it is to organize. I only told him that I felt that was a rude comment. Don't know if this is the problem at all, it's literally the only disagreement we've ever had and he apologized for it as a bad joke.I do not mean to hurt your feelings but his answer to being busy until 2016 made me laugh it is a very dry comment but blunt also. It would be exactly how I would respond if someone is unsure of seeing me. I am a woman though but if a person tells me okay this day then and then it will show me you are confident of us and I will be there.

Yeah, I see what you mean, which is why I asked him straight out if he still wanted to see me, as this was his suggestion originally, not mine.
His response was: "I was only joking, of course I do, don't think otherwise".
I Am A Pisces Sun, Capricorn Moon & I Can Be Quite Harsh & Unresponsive When Someone Has Rubbed Me The Wrong Way, Especially Someone I Trusted At One Point. I Will Block & Delete The Person From My Life After Thoughtful Consideration & Never Look Back. I Do Not Forgive Easily & I Won't Feel Bad About Cutting Someone From My Life. Once I'm Done, There's No Turning Back.
