Capricorn Loyalty

When we think of capricorn loyalty, it means we will stand behind our beloved ones no matter what. The good, the bad, the ugly. We know, if they have earned that loyalty, we are in their corner.

What about the view from the other angle? From those who don't have our loyalty? They don't see it in the same way. I recently overheard someone call a fellow capricorn two-faced. I considered the dynamics of the people involved and thought, yep, well, you haven't earned that loyalty and the another person has. So, I suppose I can see how that person could have considered that capricorn two-faced. Their loyalty was directed toward someone else, which was not that person.

My question is, what does our loyalty look like to an outsider, to one who doesn't have it? Anyone have any thoughts on that angle?

I've never earnt a Capricorn's loyalty and frankly I've never set about doing it. Problem due to lazy ideals and I can freely admit sometimes the way Caps explain how they see life seems eminently more sensible to me to try and practice.


Nevertheless, is there really anyone in this world that doesn't view themselves as absolutely loyal to someone provided they felt they conditions were met? It seems to be a bit of a universal aspiration, rather than a specific quality.

While everyone wants to think they are loyal, there are some signs that are way more loyal than others.

I'm very loyal, but even my family doesn't see it.

Im loyal to the truth with those that I love, and in that way I'll never steer a loved one in the wrong direction. I'd never steer anyone in the wrong direction, but the people I'm loyal to think that I side with others or that I'm never on their side. Thing is, I will side with someone else if the other person is right.

My loyalty is ALWAYS being there. Even if I was done wrong by someone in the past, if you are in a time of need I will be there. I don't forget moments that I share with people, and in the end, if we were ever friends, or I ever liked/loved you, I will not let a disagreement of the past or falling out get in the way if you need me.

It's not the same type of ride or die loyalty I see with many people. I am NOT there for you if you are clearly wrong about something. Sorry.

Without annoying anyone..while we're on the topic of loyalty...I never met a loyal Capricorn in my life - all the women and the men I met were the same way. I'm sure there are some nice Cappies somewhere...DXP gives me hope 😄

About loyalty, if you're loyal in a friendship to someone and he does something wrong, staying in their corner is two-faced to me. Because you know they did wrong and are choosing to bypass that for the friendship. Something like this happened to me with a Scorpio gf and I chose the truth over the friendship. Other than this, in my friendships I never took sides between different friends when they got into fights.

As much as this is a noble way to behave in life, sometimes people who have our loyalty (earth signs) don't deserve it and I've seen Capricorns who couldn't shake off people even if they were proven wrong.

My girl will bitch to high heaven about some her friends but she is still there for them... especially when she can see they need someone.

She is very thoughtful like that 🙂

When my mother more recently went through a dark time after a failed engagement it was the Capricorns in her life and from her past that stepped in. She moved back home, 1000+ miles from my sister and I and we were away for the first time ever.

She moved in with the guy and it only last a few months. From there she moved out and on her own. Everybody was worried about her because she moved home FOR this guy and to get married.

My dad(Cap) on down to 3-4 of her Capricorn exes, as well as an older Cap friend stepped in and just made sure to comfort and check on her. Lets not forget her Cancer ex, and my Libra cousin who was there for her, as well as my Libra aunt and another Cancer cousin. Dang...the Cardinals showed up lol, but we were all determined to not let her get depressed.

I'm loyal to the truth too. I wouldn't shake off anyone if they are wrong, I just don't back them in their wrongness. I don't see being wrong as a need to end a friendship or let someone go...no, I see it as pointing it out to them they are not right in the situation, telling them they should correct it or apologize and move forward from there.

I just had to do this yesterday with my Cap friend. He told me how he told his ex wife off, and I told him "so basically, you let your stress off on her?" He's been stressed lately, and all his steam towards her was because of it. I told him he needed to apologize and he better watch his karma from the things he said to her. That's that.

I may disagree with what someone is doing. I may think they are wrong. I may be telling them this to their face while they are doing it - outsiders don't see that side of it. I may or may not "support" them publically. I may or may not tell them publically they are wrong, but I'm not going to sit and listen to someone else bad mouth them either. If I'm loyal to that person, then I'm going to be there for them and listen to them and help pick up the pieces when it all falls apart.

I think our loyalty gets misinterpretted by people who don't have it. And unfortunately those that don't have it, don't get to see it in action on a personal level.

I'm the same way, and I'm not a mutable, however Im not abandoning nobody because they are wrong. You will just always know when you are wrong, but I'd never end a friendship over that. We are all wrong sometimes.

That's awesome!! When it comes to emergencies or friends/loved ones in need, we come running. I do that a lot to the point where I needed to take a break from being overwhelmed by everyone else's issues and forgot about my own.

Betrayal is the worse thing one can ever do to a capricorn. It may appear their loyalty changed and the loyalty may have been temporary, but I promise there was a reason why it stopped.

I'm still loyal to my high school best friend and I haven't really seen her in 25 years, except a few times here and there. We seldom talk, but if she were in trouble, I'd be there for her with no questions asked, as if no time had passed.

We usually show our loyalty when it means the most. We are the first ones to help out someone truly in need, even to the surprise of the person in need because they probably thought we were too cold to care. We stick up for the underdogs and lend a hand when we see someone on the ground. When it comes to our friends and family, our loyalty is rock-solid.

I know this to be true with 2 people I know, one of whom is my Cap Ex. That guy would sell his mother for money and completely walked off his Sag friend's life when he found out the guy has AIDS. Not only that but he badmouthed him to everyone they both knew. So yeah, Caps like these do exist.

He cared for me as long as his interests were alligned with being in a relationship with me. When that stopped, his whole loyalty act stopped.

The way you sound about loyalty is a lot like I process it truecap 🙂. Earth sign mentality.

That seems to be true in some cases, they are loyal to people who can get them somewhere or something. Always working an angle.

Aquas are so tolerant and accepting. I can see them giving it blindly. Until someone doesn't deserve it any longer.

I'm sure there are some unevolved caps that are like this. There's usually more to the story than people know about. Perhaps the Sag friend wasn't a "real" friend to the cap or lied to him regarding his illness or something else, and perhaps he had issues with his mother.

OR perhaps that cap is just an A $ $ .

I'm just saying that perhaps the mom and the Sag didn't deserve the loyalty. —

one of my bffs won't talk to me anymore. i have no idea why. she won't tell me. id still do anything for her. it's been almost a year since we've talked, i still refer to her as a bff even though she knows very little about my life lately and i hers.

i just wish she'd tell me what i did to piss her off, or just what the frick is going on. it sucks.

i guess my point in all of that is that despite the serious cold shoulder, i still love her to pieces and i'll be hanging out in the wings til we one day figure it out.

I think our loyalty keeps people scratching their heads, when they see who has earned it. Lol. Most people are like, "really?" But we have our reasons and they make sense to us.

That's it, though. It's our business and privacy as to why someone has our loyalty. People don't know the whole story behind it and make assumptions.

If the person with the worse reputation in town saved my life, for example, I'd dang sure give them my loyalty. I wouldn't care what anyone else thought about it either. They can be on the outs with everyone in town, but me and them, we'd be good as gold.

People's perceptions are so weird when it comes to us. He would sell his mom for money, well if that's true has he yet?

How do you know he no longer cares for you? It may just be how you view him that's turned him off. If you needed him you don't think he'd be there?

I have to agree with alot of what trucap said, because I was gonna say similar things in my post about caps loyalty.
which is an issue that is in the relationship I been having with the scorp guy, I know that it sounds crazy but I told him that he wasnt loyal at all and my loyalt was flawless regardless of what he felt or thought regardless of whaat I may have done in the past my loyalty was to/an for him but his was apparently to the streets, the dark side and them hoes; so regardless of what he was doing anything for it wasnt for me an mines, so bump him and all of the bs.
LOYALTY from capricorns mean we can 007 a situation for the purpose of proving flaws in another, for our own purposes of knowing how they opperate to protect our true loved ones; at any expense deemed necessary.

Great topic - How does one earn the loyalty from a Cap?

Our loyalty is what legends are made out of. We will go to the ends of earth for someone or nail ourselves to the cross however this loyalty can be misguided as well, i.e. loyalty to someone who uses and abuses and pretends to love us. I have no problem protecting and fighting for someone i love but when the same passion is not returned therein lies the problem.

I know because he cheated and then stole shit from our home. His brother is 4 years younger and going to college. He lived with the Cap after the Cap moved out and as soon as his new gf came into picture..the one he cheated on me with...he threw his brother out. Well at least he changed his ways...well he didn't since he not only cheated on her as well, she got beat up by him.

I remember your posts about your Virgo sister Inana, your perception of Virgos is quite accurate.

I wish I ran into more Caps in real life. I never run into Caps or Leos and when I do, I pick the worst. More people = more chances to find decent people 😄
