CAPtivated...a little help please

I am a late 20s Virgo lady. I'm seeing this Capricorn man in his late 30s who used to be my *cough* college prof. We are seeing each other on the DL for obvious reasons.
I really like him, more than I expected to. The sex is amazing. But uh, he is really aloof. We don't talk on the phone often, and I hang out with him only twice a month. I haven't seen him in awhile....close to two weeks. I'm giving him a lot of space and keeping it cool. But I want us to be an item someday. What should I do? I don't want to chase and I'm most likely not going to. Oh, and he said he likes me and when I tell him I miss him, he says he misses me too. But the last time I saw him, I told him about my fun night out at the club a few days before, and he asked me if I gave my number out. I said no, and he said I must not have met anyone I liked. He seems so suspicious and cautious, like he doesn't trust me. One of his exes cheated on him, but he also cheated on her. Anyway despite all this, I still am somewhat gaga for this dude. So yeah, any tips??

Hey Thanks for the vote of confidence. You know, I did suggest that we be more out in the open. Said he's not ready, until he gets this new position outside of the department he's in (He's interviewing). We are still at the same college. I don't know if I believe him, but I am trying. I have never been this patient with a man that I really like before! Lmao

There may be a "rule" for the faculty. Or he may work with people who will create drama out of your relationship and wants to avoid all of that.

Otherwise, I'm leary of situations that haave to be on the "down low". I mean, if you can't be with me in public, why should I be with you in private?

Just my thoughts and life lessons learned the hard way.

Yeah the down low thing is kind of wack. I might just cool it with him for now. See if things change after he leaves the college.

I'm kind of glad he is taking it slow because I tend to be infatuated with a guy and jump into a relationship, only to get tired of the person and end up with the relationship burning out. I don't know why...My Venus is in Leo, I have a Libra moon, and Sagittarius rising sign.
